I initially liked the first few episodes until I realized how repetitive the movie got once it hit ep 5. She throws a fit, pops a pill, does her mean face, wins a game, sleeps with some guy, wins a game, loses and throws a fit, someone dies again, she pops a pill, does a mean face, wins then loses then sleeps with some guy. Her entire life is chess and that's it.

Queens gambit I loved it but felt there could have been a little more added after the 4th episode. After that things seemed repetitive

One that got lots of praise was The English Patient. I went to see it with my wife and despised it for some reason from start to finish. After wasting my time on that garbage, I was in a really bad mood when I left the theater. I hated Ralph Fiennes for years after that until I saw him play different roles in other movies.

I can't remember why I hated it so badly. I think I found his character dry and emotionless. I assumed that he was a terrible actor.

But yeah, I was very disappointed with "Lost in Translation". I had read a lot of good things about it, and when it ended I was all "That was it?". Boring af and I had a lot more funny and interesting things happen to me in Japan than what was in the movie.

Pretty much Frozen. Marvel has been doing downhill too. I did enjoy the one where Thanos won, part 1. Finally a bad guy winning.

Pretty much every Marvel movie. Everyone went nuts over each one and when I watched them they all just felt incredibly bland.
