I rewatch Babylon 5 every few years. It's a (sadly) unique show in that it was planned out in full from the beginning, and took ten years to get to television because the creator had an ironclad rule: the story ran for five years, and thus five seasons. If it got canceled before that, oh well, but under no circumstances was it to go BEYOND five- the story ended when it ended. And what a story it was, with characters and performances that people still talk about today. (Up until the day he died at WAY too young an age, Andreas Katsulas could read out of a phone book, and I'd listen with rapt attention. Oh, and he did so while wearing THIS level of makeup:

)
It was also unique in that of the 110 episodes, the creator wrote 102 of them- including all of seasons 3 and 4, and all but one episode of season 5 (who wrote the one exception in season 5? Neil Gaiman.). He also put in what he called "trapdoors", so that if an actor left the show (several did), not only would there be a viable explanation for what happened to that character, but there'd be a viable way to bring them back in.
The CGI work... look, it was the early 90's. The show was a MAJOR pioneer in the use of CGI, and while the starship shots generally look okay, anything interacting with humans has basically aged like fine milk. But that's the only major complaint I've ever heard against the series that has any real validity. The music was so impressive that I actually went and bought some of the specific episode soundtracks.
The big thing, though, is the depth: not just of the story, but of the characterization. Every time I rewatch the series, I see something new that I never noticed before.
Wow cool! Thank you very much for the tip!:)

Gotham (TV Series 2014–2019)

Nice with the pictures!😌👍🏻
Thank you!
I have autism, I have rewatched many series multiple times but 4 immediately come to mind just bc of how much time I spent on them:
1. Avatar: The Last Airbender, the best show to come out of the US for the fantasy genre, in my opinion. Avatar: The Legend of Korra, the sequel, and the show that paved the way for same sex couples in animated kids shows to be shown on screen without any kind of censorship. This entire franchise I have seen multiple times
2. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. This is a lifelong obsession and my all-time favorite anime to this day. The original series that came before it in 2003 also has received multiple rewatches.
3. Castlevania - horror and gory but with genuine emotion and gorgeous animation as it tells the tragic story of Dracula, his son, and the Belmont family.
4. Steven Universe - another queer show with deep subject matter that impacted me greatly as I watched it and holds a special place in my heart for both its character direction and the fact that they told a redemption story in reverse successfully.
Thanks for sharing!:)
Why say you have autism tho?👀
Autistic people tend to rewatch the same things over and over. I’ve rewatched Castlevania twice, Steven Universe 3 times, A:TLA about 5 or 6 times, and the fullmetal alchemsit franchise I’ve collectively watched about 10 times.
But glad you did find shows you liked so much! I have too! Maybe I will look into those you suggested:))
cold case its hard to find due to music copy rights-- its set in philly they investigate cold cases. the episodes go back in time and switch to the present time. i tend to get lost in it.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/KGEQW92ndM4i used to watch it in rerun on cable but again sony with their music copyrights and the stations not wanting to pay the ridiculous price to air the reruns. i was able to record every episode before it was removed from cable tv. it is a constant watch for me since i was a kid
I agree, such a good series. Good cast too.
@OfMiceandMen ✌👍💕💕

@shesrad80 I did not realize that. One of my favs👍

Supernatural. But only seasons 1-5 because they actually do have a good storyline and a build-up. Any other season is so dislocated from the main story and feels like bad fanfiction, they don't hit you right in the guts. But the first 5 seasons... ohh boy. I am so nostalgic over SPN. The story was so good. It has my all-time favorite characters in it. The humor, the heartbreak, the action, the messages. Also, only good memories. Many friends I made along the way, many emotional moments that happened while I watched it for the first time. Brings everything back. And you know, if someone watches SPN to cheer themselves up, something is really wrong xD
I think I've heard of that one.. dont remember much tho. Thank you!:))
The daily life of the immortal king. Not sure I watched it repeatedly because it is "good" so much as because it's unique. Most anime has a "power creep" problem. But this one starts off with the main character at max power and the plot is mostly centered around his half assed attempt to not freak anyone out over how powerful he is, while a whole epic power struggle between the plebs happens in the background.
Intressting twist to it!😊 thank you!
The Prisoner, Columbo, The Avengers, Danger Man, The Beverly Hillbillies (I'm on my second full run-through right now! Almost done with season 4!), Roswell, Chuck, Heroes, The Addams Family, The Outer Limits, F-Troop, Hogan's Heroes, Monty Python's Flying Circus, My Favorite Martian, The Dick Van Dyke Show, McHale's Navy, Honey West, Lost In Space, The Time Tunnel, Green Acres, Barney Miller, Black's Books, The Blackadder, The Young Ones, within a few months, I'll be plowing through, "Mission: Impossible" "The Man From U. N. C. L. E." and "I Spy" for the second time.

Nice! Thank you!
Once Upon A Time. I'm actually rewatching it now that it's back on Hulu.
Cool!:)
Omg same but rewwatching it on Disney!
Rewatching *

Do you have a favorite character from Teen Wolf?:)
Yes I watched the show Julie and the Phantoms over 10 times because of the awesome music
nice!
I watched TWD twice till a particular episode.. cause from there they killed a lot of my favourite characters and ruined the show
What show is TWD?
The Walking Dead!!
Oh I've never seen it but heard its good
Yeah really good!
Initial seasons were like.."This is the best series ever made in the world"!!
But they really killed of a lot of people's favorite characters and ruined it later on
Oh yeah it sucks when they remove the good actors and then even worse when they bring in another actor to replwce the original one like we won't notice👀🤣😭
You said it!
In this too, they just randomly made a villain kill 2 characters who most watchers loved... and to make it worse, the story started revolving around that villain as if he was the new main guy.. when all watchers just wanted to see the hero stab him to death lolol
Oh wow thats horrible😟
Also in Netflix there are these series which were made from Harlen Coben's mystery novels
They are really short.. like around 1 season and 8 episodes..
But I must say most of them are really mysterious and nail biting... and with lots of twists everywhere... really keeps us excited and wanna keep watching!
Sorry to bore you lol..
You aren't boring me. Sounds intressting! I've seen some of those short series too
