This was always the issue with super hero comics and movies is that people aren't that dumb. i think most can notice if one of their loved ones was a super hero just by their voice, posture and mannerisms lol. not to mention their scent too.

But what do you think. think you'd be able to tell

I disagree, people are dumb as fuck. How often do you see a work colleague in a supermarket and not recognize them because they're out of place? Similarly we often only recognise people because of one or two features that catch the eye, Hitler's moustache, Einstein's wild hair etc.

I think as long as they weren't a familiar setting a lot of people would get fooled

Yeah I know. I think you'd recognise them in your home, the same way you recognise your uncle dressed as Santa. But on TV or running past in the street perhaps not

Depends on the outfit, if you have someone like Batman for example you'd be like "I recognize that chin" but a full type of thing like spider man would be more complicated until they say something

Unless it changed their body like the Blue ranger suit from power rangers Turbo I could tell. their Body shape along with the voice would be a dead give away it was them.
