I can't decide between Wuthering Heights or Pride and Prejudice :)
The book theif everything about it is perfect. The fact its based on deaths perspective of Ww2 and just focuses on a girl living in Germany is unqiue.
The book has so much flavour and richness to the realism. It's my favourite book of all time and it's not even horror though tbf nazis are horror.
Then exorcist the book is way better than the terrible film. The book has slow and gripping tension and never actually confirms whether it was a real possession or not. Which works 10x better.

The Harry Potter series still holds a special place in my heart.
But, for a standalone novel, 11/22/63 by Stephen King is pretty good. I enjoyed the story, the immersion, and unexpectedly, the romance.
The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss and the sequel A Wise Man’s Fear, is also very good. Sadly, the third installment, The Doors of Stone has been taking forever to come out.
So many.
The Hush, Hush series. I remember I giggled excitedly when I read the first book.
A Danish book, Djævelens Lærling, by Kenneth Bøgh Andersen.
The Artemis Fowl series
And others, but these are what comes to mind first.
Oh I'm also reading Throne of Glass series and The Cruel Prince, which both series I find pretty good.
I couldn't even...
Almost every book I pick up becomes my favourite until I pick up the next one and it is rare that I don't enjoy a book.
Right now The brothers lionheart and dexter is the book I enjoy the most, since that's my current reading. There's also Pollyanna - which I've always loved and which I'm reading at work.

"Animal House" and "The Real Animal House".
Chris Miller has such a great way of writing; he's very descriptive without being very descriptive! Either you know what he's talking about without him telling you just by the way he mentions things or, whereas others might take a page or two to tell you every little thing about a room or situation and, consequentially, boring you to tears, Chris gives you a little bit here, a little more there, just enough to let you get by until you need more. VERY underrated and underappreciated writer!I have two very different books that I enjoyed reading a lot. The first one is The Shamer’s daughter. And the second one is My Brilliant Friend. I’ve read them both again as I got older and they’re just as amazing and enjoyable as when I read them for the first time.
There are plenty of them. The Sun Also Rises. The original Dune Trilogy, some of the cop books by Joseph Wambaugh and Robert B Parker's Spencer novels. Then there is this old book.
Thats tough. I can't pick just one, so ill name my top 5.
Pillars of the earth, The name of the wind, the gargoyle, half a king, and the wise mans fear.
Loose Balls: The Short, Wild Life of the American Basketball Associationby Terry Pluto
My two favorites have always been "Neuromancer" by William Gibson, and "ushers passing" by Robert mccammon.
Halo Reach.
I'm not to big on the games, but the writers for the series did a good job in my opinion.Lord of the Rings as a kid. I read the Fellowship in the car driving through the Appalachian Mountains on our way to Florida. It added to the effect.
I love Pride and Prejudice. Read it in high school and fell of my chair laughing reading the first chapter.
Here, I'll decide for you.

Either one of the Henry Miller books (can't decide which one) or Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
Oh I just read dumb stuff. Ready Player One, Mistborn. I like dumb stuff like that.
