Not on a large scale. I know a few people who do race them for fun with friends though, and I see little go cart tracks that you can pay to ride in pretty much every major city. But not really to the events.

They’re still a thing in the US, at least my part of California. My mom’s friend’s 10 year old does Kart Racing.

I’ve never seen them I’ve seen local stock car racing then the big boys in Homestead speedway NASCAR,
