Did the Oompa Loompas freak you out as a kid?

Watching Willy Wonka 1971 version and was just wondering if they freaked you out. They didn't freak me out but I thought they were so odd. I guess that was the point though since they came from a small isolated island called LoompaLand.

No, why should they? From what I can tell in this picture, the one on the far left was the butler at Number 2's residence on, "The Prisoner". I KNOW Angelo WAS one of the Loompas but, I've never actually seen him in the movie. He was also in a very minor part in The Beatles movie, "Magical Mystery Tour". Before that, he was a midget wrestler.

Sure as hell wasn’t freaked out by a damn Oompa Loompa 😅 I never cared too much for the movie either

I always used to have to fast forward through all of their songs in the movie because they creeped me out so much 😂

No I was always so scared of gene wilder in that scene where he initially tells Charlie he loses and gets nothing though.

Oh yeah that scene scared me too along with the scene where they are on the boat and he's singing and everything turns dark colors.
