During the formation of the Traveling Wilburys, Bob Dylan suggested the band be named Roy and the Boys in honor of Roy Orbison, but the band ended up being The Traveling Wilburys.

I didn't know that, but I do know why they are called the Travelling Wilburys.

It happened when recording, and the term "wilbury" was used for imperfections of equipment, "we'll bury" them in the mix.

It was originally the Trembling Wilburys, but it was decided The Travelling Wilburys was better.
