What is your all-time favorite movie and why?

The movie that I have seen the most times is "The Wizard of Oz" that my family used to watch every year when I was growing up.

But that's not my favorite. That's the movie "Star Trek IV The Voyage Home", the one about the whales. There are so many scenes in that movie that I remember in exquisite detail:

• "Hello Computer" - Scotty
• "There be whales" - Scotty
• "I'm from Iowa, I only work in Outer Space" - Kirk
• Nerve pinch to quiet the boombox on the bus - Spock
• "I grew a new kidney" - woman in hospital
• "Those glasses were a gift from Dr McCoy... And they will be again" - Spock and Kirk, at the pawn shop
• "How do you know she's pregnant? ... Gracie Knows" - Gillian and Spock
• "Captain, it's the Enterprise" - Chekov

I have watched it many times and will watch it several times again.

It stars Kevin Costner and Robert Duval. It is a cowboy movie that is not like a cowboy movie. It deals with loyalty, honor, justice vs. vengeance. It has great cinematography and the acting is top notch. The fight scene is very realistic as opposed to other cowboy movies and the relationship between Costner's character and the sister of the town doctor is touching.
