  Because everything fades. People change over time. You don't just stay exactly the same. Life hits hard, and it makes people cynical and angry. You ever see many happy old people? Maybe a few here and there, maybe a fair amount; but mostly they're all grouchy and cynical. They weren't always like that. They changed. You should see how you've changed, as well.
