Well I went to hers towards the end of summer (sometime in August) and the last two weeks of summer we both spent prepping for college and my summer was shorter than hers by a week because my college started first.
I went to a college offering the academic subjects I wanted to study, and she went to a college offering courses in animal care because she wants a career with animals- and our colleges are on opposite sides of our city.
Because college workload had gotten so much for us both - in different ways - we've spent so much time working we haven't really had time to meet. And it's been a classic case of- when I'm busy she's free, and when she's busy I'm free.
But today we made time for each other and saw each other successfully! ^_^
What Happened And How Did It Go?
Pearshaped to begin with. See we had this plan, she was at her workplacement and I was at home, so- she'd get off the bus at my house and we'd walk up to hers. Then my dad suggested:
"Oh just get on the bus that she's on and go to hers that way"
Now that sounds awesome- in theory, but in practice...
It failed... See, I couldn't find my coat with my bus ticket in it and when I found it I ran out to the bus stop full speed the bus stopped I was about to get on, and the bus driver just looked me in the eyes and drove off!
Anyway she got off at a stop not too far from my home (Spidey pun was intended) and we just walked up to hers.
Now on the way there we had so much to tell each other about college and then we decided to talk about the general election coming up, and more college- and what she told me was really awesome, and so was what I told her.
It was just so nice to talk to her in person again, I mean we text on Insta but it's not the same as seeing her face-to-face- I mean the first thing we did when we saw each other was a massive hug because we've missed each other so much.
And as we were approaching her house, she told me there'd been a murder in her area between some drug dealers or something- that's what apparently happened anyway, and to be honest that didn't really surprise me in the slightest- it's our city, anything is possible up here.
Anyway, we went inside her house, I took my shoes off because of politeness, I greeted her sister who made us food (which was really good) and she asked me which college I go to and I told her- and her sister was watching Fresh Prince and I was just there like:
"YESSS WILL SMITHHH XD"
Then we went upstairs to her room- and she showed me her new birds she has 4 birds now, and they were really cute- one sat on my arm, one flew on my head and the other just sat in it's cage like:
Turns out, she actually got me a birthday present too which I was over the moon about it was this:
She always gets me Spider-Man themed gifts- because its me xD
And now I have to top that and get her something dope for her birthday in January- mission accepted :P
Whenever I go to hers its like our tradition to watch one movie at the minimum and we watched two... No prizes for guessing what they were...
And we were fangirling so hard at the movies even though we've seen them about a million times!
I was talking about how much I liked his suit and wanted to steal it (I know that's never gonna happen but I can dream xD) and she was like:
Her: "Spidey, you can't steal the suit! God you're so strange sometimes!"
Me: "But you've missed me none the less..."
Her: "I have actually"
Me: "I want that suit"
Her: ðĪĶðžââïļðĪĶðžââïļðĪĶðžââïļ
And the conversations got weirder too- but most of what we talk about in there stays in there and between us.
We were also talking about how now some of our friends how boyfriends and we're just single and happy with that because we can't be arsed with having a relationship yet- she thinks I'm probably gonna go for someone older because maturity and I honestly can't argue with that- just not yet. ;)
And we were talking about what we miss about secondary school, how much we've missed each other, old inside jokes- and it was just a huge laugh.
Any Last Words?
It was high key the perfect day.
And honestly, we need to do this more often because I miss her again already. I can't go another 3 months without seeing her and we agreed that we don't that again and that also our friendship will last a damn lifetime.
I love hearing her rant about her boss, and things which are funny- because her ranting is amazing.
Now I'm going to go to bed so I can wake up for college tomorrow.
This is irrelevant but when I got home, my brother threatened to kill my Miles Morales funko pop- which is now sat at my desk but my brother WILL NOT go anywhere near Miles.
