Why does my friend always pick out my flaws?

i have this so called "friend ", that always picks out my flaws. Like everytime we get together she makes comments about my hair saying it looks bad & i need it re done , or she would say im adding weight that if i keep eatin junk ill be fat , she'll point out a zit on my face , make smart remarks of my clothes & much much more. Why does she do this , its quite annoying to be around all the time.

We accept in this life what we think we deserve and if you continue to hang around someone who continuously puts you down, makes rude comments, is demeaning to you, then some part of you thinks you deserve to be treated that way. Her motives don't matter because every person on the planet knows to treat people the way they want to be treated, whether they follow it or not, so if you confront her and tell her what she is doing is not cool and is hurting you and she tries or does change her ways, that's a friend you can keep. If she laughs at you, says you're making too much of a big deal, or keeps doing it, find real friends in your life that support you and love/like you for you. There are already far too many people in this world who want to talk bad about you... why would you allow a so called friend do that?

Simple: she likely has her own interpersonal issues, so she is passive-aggressively lashing out at you to give herself the gratification of making someone else feel as shitty as she does. I would tell her to her face that she needs to stop picking your flaws out unless she wants to lose a friend.

She could be jealous of you, or she could also be one of those people who always focuses on the negative sie of things. Pay attention on whether she does the same thing to other friends or not. Then you'll know whether it's a personal thing against you or whether it's just her shitty character

Maybe she is jealous or maybe she has to pick on you to feel better about herself. She can be doing this for a lot of reasons but you should't put up with those rude remarks. Talk to her and if it doesn't work, go away because she obviously isn't worth your time.
