My aunt unfriended me on facebook, was it really that bad?

Okay, so here's the story. She updates her status to: This generation is so sad.
Then I comment: You're right, I am sad. Thank you for noticing.
My mom gets in on the whole thing and comments on my comment saying: My poor baby. Where does it hurt so mommy can kiss is better
To which I reply: You can't kiss my soul better, mom.

And then my aunt unfriends me. Was I that far out of line? I should mention that my aunt is kind of tightly wound so I guess this has been a long time coming.

Lol, that's fair in some respects but some of us work pretty hard too, sometimes we just doubt ourselves and undervalue the work we do because we think we aren't good enough but I guess a lot of people do that, not just us

It sucks, I don't know how to fix that problem though. I guess the key is to try not to be too hard on yourself and let things flow

No, you're fine, really. I talk a lot sometimes too. You aren't bothering me. Honestly, if you want to get better at being honest without having to joke, you just have to keep desensitizing yourself to it. Often we're afraid of hurting others or how they will react, but we can't control that. You have to learn not to care lol. But its in a good way in my opinion.

Cool, thank you, I'm always worried about being too annoying which is probably fair, lol. Yeah, I've been working on that, I've also been working on being less subtle. It turns out that people don't tend to read between the lines when you say things like, "God, Sylvia Plath was so smart, she had some great ideas." The whole "not caring" thing is hard, it's easier when you don't have to see the person everyday

No worries. You definitely aren't annoying me at all. Yes, that's true. I also think one of the biggest killers of success and happiness, is being a perfectionist. Just give it all you can. 😊 If you fail, thats okay, just dust yourself off and try again.

Thank you, it's good to know that I'm not a pain or that you're just really nice. Absolutely. It's good to work hard but it really drains you when you try to get everything right because I mean, no one can ever get everything right all the time, it's just so much to ask of yourself. You have to be able to laugh at yourself when you mess up too, so many people are unhappy because they take things too seriously, you need to be able to relax and know that sometimes you mess up but it's okay
