Can I ask her best friend if she might like me?

This girl thought I was cute and fun at this party and I think she is into me. I don't want to scare her away by asking if she likes me right away.

Is it weird to ask her best friend?

You could ask her, and she might tell you, but really you should just ask the girl. You know I know there's a lot of stigma attached to asking someone these kinds of questions, but most people do actually like to be approached in person, even if the answer is not what you want, we will feel a lot more impressed that you came up and did it yourself. And ocassionally it could change the mind. There are people who walk past everyday, doesn't mean we notice them all, or notice them in the way they would want, but if you ask her in person, she might just start to notice you.

Sorry to say it but it is not for definite that the best friend will know, I have liked guys that I never said anything to anyone about, not even my best friend.

its def. not weird to ask her best friend!, most girls are waitng for the guy to make the first move. you gotta watch tho. if her best friend likes you also, there's a good chance she might turn her back on her friend, I've had a few friends do that to me and its real f***ed up. I say you just ask her personally.

it would actually be best if you asked her best friend. that way you'll get 100% honesty as opposed to if you asked the girl, then she might not admit it because she's not sure if you like her. so yes asking her friend is a great idea, not weird at all.

You can ask her friend, but I wold suggest asking her directly. that way she could begain to see that you actually are interested in her enough to take the next step with her. Sure asking the friend may verify a few things, and prevent waisted effort (as far as courting goes), but Like I said, directly is what I would suggest; cut out the middle wo-man in the situation :P
