A guy joking about having his baby?

I've been dating this guy for about 3 months now and he always jokes around about me being pregnant with his baby. No, I'm not fat! I'm actually pretty thin & were both 23. & he's even told me he's had a dream about it. I know he doesn't even wanna settle down anytime soon, why would he always joke about that though? Or is he just trying to be funny?

He might not want to settle down now or even SOON, but if he does settle down with someone some day, he's saying that he can totally see you there in that picture. If he said it once, I would say he's just trying to joke around, but if he's said it several times AND he's even told you he's having dreams about it, it's not just a joke.

I'm wondering how you react to him when he says this. I don't really need to know the answer to that, but I just have to say, maybe you should try to react differently to him next time he says it. For instance, if you don't really say anything or if your reaction is keeping it as a joke, get a little serious the next time he says it with a "that would be sweet" comment. Then see how he reacts. :).

Bottom line though - if this keeps up, you're going to have to eventually have a little convo about it. If he's saying it over and over to you, it's because he wants to get something across to you and you'll eventually need to know what that exactly is. Good luck! :)
