On a scale of 1-10, how strict is your parent?

Mine ranks up 7 and 8, they're very strict

My mom used to be WAY worse, but thankfully as she got older, she softened up! She is still firm, but not as bad as she used to be when I was a kid.

I never tested boundaries or did anything crazy so I'm not sure how strict she really is.
My guess is a 6-7 though. Until I was 16 I couldn't spend the night at random houses, no cursing, no staying out late etc etc
But, at the same time she didn't check to make sure all my HW was done, didn't dictate who I texted etc.
She trusted that I was doing the right things so she was never pushy.

Probably a 7 or 8. My dad isn't around, but my mom is strict. She's overbearing, overprotective, overly sensitive, and she loses it when things go wrong with her kids or when we do something she doesn't approve of.
I'm not sure she ever really got over it when my older brother eloped with his girlfriend.

Like a 2 or 3. At 11 i no longer has a curfew or bedtime. I could do pretty much whatever I wanted as long as it didn't hurt anyone and wasn't illegal. (But i could drink)

Mine was very strict when I was a kid I would say 8-9 easily but now am grown up so I can do what I want

did nothing to give our parents the choice to be real strict with us.
