  The first reason is valid, but the rest is something you shouldn't worry about. The great things about kids is that they are like you. They like their parents humour and they mimic them aswell.
  
  Social awkwardness comes from not being used to someone, your own kids on the other hand learn to be like you. Its like talking to your siblings or parents.
  
  I feel like you will benefit from having kids. Especially if you're socially awkward.
  
  But yeah that advice comes from a guy, so make of that what you want.
