I don't know the laws in Romania about incest. Perhaps that your laws consider giving sperm (not having intercourse) to a sister-in-law through artificial insemination as incest.

How can it be incest if you are giving your sperm to your brother's wife. You are not giving your semen to your brother. Or am I missing something here?
@SueShe I’m not necessarily against incest either. This just sounds close to it. But if all adults involved agree, good! But would the brother have rights over the kid?
This is an issue that would have to be put down on a legal and binding document that is recognized in any court case, should it ever go that far.
@SueShe But as someone with legal experience will tell you, a judge could easily throw it out. Obviously it’s evidence of contractual agreement, but issues with kids have Judges doing crazy things.
Of course and that is why anyone should do the only reasonable thing in such a case and not get involved at all.
Your brother can still adopt and that settles the question once and for all. No possible family feud and/or court case.
