I’d say legally no especially if the woman knew the child was not his. But if a man is already bonded and loves his non biological child I guess it’s up to what he thinks is morally right in the situation. For the child he’s her/his only father.
In Florida, a man can file a petition to establish that he is not the biological father of a child and, if successful, the support obligation terminates, along with his custody and visitation rights.
He shouldn't have to pay, but he can choose to pay if he personally feels like paying maybe base on his personal relationship with the child, which becomes a privilege not necessarily a right
Of course not! It's not his child nor his responsibility. Unless he signs a form stating he claims the child as his, then he holds mo legal obligation to him
No that wouldn't be fair for him to pay for the child of another man. Maybe if they have a close relationship with not biological child then he can help sometimes. He shouldn't have to and only if he wants to provide financial support.
My neighbour has bought a car. Should I pay his road tax and insurance? What a grotesque idea! Plus: Child support should be paid out to the kid - not to its Mom (or Dad, in rare cases).
In some jurisdictions, the father may be able to seek to set aside the judgment based on fraud. In this type of action, the father would likely have to prove that the mother knew that he was not the father and intentionally deceived him.
It shows you how Anti-Male the Justice System is. If you don't get a DNA test from the very beginning and just have faith it's yours then you run into the possibility of being legally screwed.

@sejla
Then she should go to jail for fraud.

No he shouldn't be required to, but Unfortunately it's real and it's out there and it happens often..
No, he shouldn't. But he is a fucking idiot for not requiring a DNA test if there was a doubt...

That is tough but if that is the case then the mother should make a him at least a second father to the child
Depends what your aim is and clearly here your government is more interested in someone supporting the child and it doesn't really care who.
That's f*ed up. If the child isn't yours you shouldn't have to pay. If you choose to, that is different

Nope.
In fact, he should be reimbursed for the child support he paid, either by the woman or the state. It's a double standard.
Don't know if that was a credible source lol but no, duh.
this is actually true, it happens.
As long as abortion is legal, there shouldn't be child support period.
A few years ago this happened to a guy in my country; I thought it unfair then, and I think it's unfair now.
Nope. The father should be on the hook if anyone is.
No way. If it’s not your kid, why the hell should you have to pay for it?
This should be officially illegal. But the ruling class and the injustice system don't care because more taxpayers means more money for them.
