Do you think lookism exists among babies and young kids too?

I noticed that many people get more protective, forgiving, happy and sweet when a baby or a toddler is attractive, and have harmonious features.

I worked during summer as a babysitter and I noticed that when a toddler with a pretty cute face have a bad temper, people say that he have a strong personality, but when a toddler with ugly features do the same thing, the adults around start to complain how he needs to be educated.

When a cute toddler is sweet and polite, the adults around used to praise him like crazy, but when another less pretty toddler do the same thing, they LITERALLY TOLD ME, how he may be autistic and how he lack character. It’s shocking but I witnessed that with my own eyes.

Do you also believe that lookisme start at an early age?

YES. A lot of people are extremely biased and toxic. There is no such thing as an unattractive baby. Only unattractive people. I say adults and older people's opinions is what helps feed in to the narcissistic, and vain characteristics in people's personalities today. That's how people learn how to create social groups based on what the other adults are doing. And it makes you wonder how was it that a lot of kids know who the bully who. And why people treats other poorly and blame other kids for what theu were force fed.

Also, ita common for animals and humans to prefer the more attractive offspring. It's due to a biologcial reaction of natural selection, where anything with mutations or effects that make it more unappealing, are more likley to be killed or neglected.


We as humans, tend to hav the same ideology, some will abort if they find out their offspring as some dis ability, or we will put it up for adoption. It's all natural selection
