Why don't my parents respect my privacy?

Other than entering my room without rocking, going through my stuff and cleaning things just so they get lost and I have to go ask them where they kept it they also keep spying on me as if I'm some agent. Why can't they respect my privacy?

I think all parents are like this. I think sometimes it's a good thing, they are worried for your safety. I can understand it's annoying. Try and see it in perspective of you having a child your age, and would you check on them regularly.

Yeah but I'm not 10 anymore. I'm an adult and there should at least be a few boundaries. My dad respects them at least. Mom of course not. She finds out things and tells them to everyone. My best option would be to get a job and move out

I try not to but sometimes she just finds it out somehow like a detective like most mothers

Yeah I understand it's annoying. But try and see it as.. if something was wrong and you were really sad, shed likely to find out and be there for you.

Because you're living in their house, under their rules. If their rules say you have to be up by your bed at 7 in the morning for a cell inspection - then you've got to do it.

If you don't like it, get a job and gtfo.

Because they're parents and you're on their property, while having spent most of your life as their property. You can have privacy when you pay for your own house.
