What age is too old to bring a person of the opposite sex into a public bathroom or locker room?

Single parents, at what age do you stop bringing your kid/young adult into the bathroom or locker room with you?

It honestly doesn’t bother me when I see a dad bring his daughter into the men’s room. It’s a bit strange when she looks to be a teenager.
If the gender roles were reversed, say a mom bringing her son into a women’s locker room I know there would be problems if the boy were young as maybe 7 years old?

Anyway I’m just curious how this is handled.

Also has anyone ever challenged you for bringing your kid into the wrong bathroom/locker room?

My oldest daughter is almost eight and I still go with her simply because we live somewhere that isn’t safe. I’ll keep going until she’s comfortable going on her own.

maybe find befriended girls of her age? Because girls go to the bathroom in groups since mankind exists.

@scooogy it not sending my child with another group of young girls into a bathroom in the town I live in alone 😂 I live in the straight hood so that’s not smart

I think once a child is old enough to change and shower on their own, and know what is not appropriate.
