Could my mom beat me in a fight?

I'm now slightly taller then my mom and I think I'm definitely stronger then her now. We still have funny play fights and she says I'm way stronger then I used to be which makes me feel good

I was curious tho and I asked her if she thinks she could beat me if we fought and she said she still definitely could. We have ordered mma gloves online to have a rougher fight

I asked her what rules she wants and she said none besides eye poking being banned and I just accepted because why not

Do you think she could actually beat me and how?

She is slightly shorter then me and slim build and I'm just an average build for a guy

The strength of a person doesn't necesarily mean they'll lose or win a fight.

I once had a fight with a guy at school. I'm not very strong , so if I had punched him, he probably wouldn't have felt it lol but I knew how to block his punch and floor him in a second 😂

Well it basically is no holds barred just don't want to hurt each others eyeballs xD so it will be close to it! Why would that change anything tho?

Yeah I didn't think my strength would automatically give me a win but it will help I think

How would you have floored him in a second tho if your not very strong?

It changes things because say for example you had a boxing match, you are limited to what you can do. If it's a no holds barred fight, anything goes.
If I had a boxing match with someone I'd probably lose , but let me kick, punch, poke or jab the eyes and jab the throat etc I'd stand a better chance of winning, or at least disabling the person lol

I floored him because when he went to punch me I blocked his punch then kicked back his knee with the flat of my boot then tripped him up backwards with my other foot. I didn't need to be stringer than him to floor him. He hit the back of his head of the concrete. That ended the fight.

I had an arm wrestle with someone stronger than my, and they won. Then in a playfight, I put them in a choke hold and they wouldn't release themselves from it

I didn't actually think of that when we agreed to the rules but I am sure we wouldn't do that to me :S I hope not but she is pretty competitive so she might resort to that so maybe I should make that a rule of no hitting my balls

I meant i'd feel disgusted with myself if i kicked or punched my own mom, she'd end up in hospital. My mother has never had a body capable of competing with a guy, no athletic shape at all and has no sense of 'fun.' I'd feel cringe wrestling her. If however i had a mom who regularly plays sports and goes to the gym, has a physique that looked not far off a female MMA fighter, i'd ofcourse change my opinion.

and by the way i suggest you both get padded up groin, elbows, head gear, and you wear a cup for your groin, her a sports bra. Getting all close up on the ground, neither want to feel embarassed or undignified. Spray deodrant so you dont get each others sweat on each other either. Know when enough's enough. I'd suggest if you get a shot on the body or head, it's a win. Restart. Best of 5. If you get a takedown, it's win. Restart. Let it be more like karate and less of on the ground wrestling as that requires someone to absolutely know to stop the fight.

She does kickboxing and is pretty fit so she will be just fine I think and we aren't going to kill each other it's more of a competitive fun thing but I was just curious what others thought lol

We were just going to have mma gloves and headgear and mouthguards because I didn't think she would go for my balls but as someone else said I probably should still get something to protect them anyway

We don't really need elbow guards or anything because we have mats

i dont know man, do you both have grudges. How will you feel if she hit you hard? What if she broke something? Vice versa. If you lost would you ask for a rematch and go crazy on her to win?
What if she goes easy on you because your her son. It'd be like a stupid drunk punch up.
If my mom was someone who i liked hugging, i'd accept the fight just so i could lol frankly my mom never hugged me and so i just hugged other moms.

I think you might have issues with your mom but i think that is different to what I'm talking about because we don't really want to hurt each other it's just fun competition
