I'm 27 years old, never had any friends, super shy, living isolated and losing my mind, considering suicide. What can I do?

If want to continue living, you need to think of life as a decision tree. Consider a set of possible options to arrive at the best outcome 1) suicide 2) trying to meet people 3) adopting a dog 4) exploring a new hobby 5) learning about Buddhism. For each possible outcome, imagine, what is the next thing that will happen if I choose this option? And then prune the decision tree of the outcomes you don't like. For me, personally, I think suicide is always a valid form of pain relief, but in reality, it doesn't really end your suffering.

I don't know if I can tell you anything that will change the way you feel, only you can change how you feel. Talking to someone about may make you feel better. There are people willing to listen. For example, reddit has a subreddit called r/suicidewatch. Group of individuals who may understand you better than the GAG user base.

And wtf are they going to do? Tell me some bullshit psychology mumbo-jumbo and or throw pills at me whilst hating their jobs or loving it yet being unable to give me what I need. I've read several psychology books and they're all a bunch of nonsense that overcomplicate or oversimplify things. The truth to the matter is that the only value we have in life is time, attractiveness, money and social skills. Yet people around me don't care - I'm boring, poor, unattractive, dull, can't get a job and I'm running out of time. I'm sick of words - they don't mean anything.

The truth to the matter is that people just don't care. I smile, talk to people nicely, make them feel that they matter, yet nobody can tell I've got a problem and yet nobody cares. Nobody ever asks me how I'm doing, only my parents do, and they are the only reason I'm alive.

Well taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your physical health. You have to be willing to take that first step. Do you actually want help or do you just want to complain about how depressed you are and not do anything about it?

The last thing I didn't need is some random online woman feeding me baby talk and then proceeds to tell me I'm whiny - it's a very conflicting and weird mindset you have. I've been suffering from mental health issues all my life; I don't know what "normal" is so I don't even know what "taking the first step" means - you're full of mumbo-jumbo and I'm not going to take you seriously, just like all psychologist. I've been trying to connect with people, I told you this; I've been very helpful and nice, smiling to people yet nobody seems interested in hanging out with me or talking to me. You asked what you can do, I gave you advice that helped me. I've been there, I've struggled with depression for as long as I can remember, I've had suicidal thoughts and one failed suicidal attempt. Things didn't actually start getting better for me until I started taking steps to fix my issues. For me that consisted of talking to someone about it, and getting on some medication to help. Every one is different, which is why it's important to talk to someone who knows how to help and is able to take a step back and look at what is causing the issues. When I was really depressed, I was my own worst enemy.

I'm not my own worst enemy, I love me. The problem is that isolation and the fact that nobody cares is driving me insane. I'm getting close to 30 and it's only getting lonelier for people the older they get. You need to understand that I am not blaming myself, I am blaming others. However, putting blame on people is a good way to remove your chances of getting people to hang out with you for good. We don't have the same problem, stranger. The problem isn't with me, it's with others - people have become increasingly selfish, prideful and I'm sick of pouring my heart out for them - the ground is barren and watering it doesn't help. People simply are carnal more than they have ever been at this time and age.

So let me get this strait, you're lonely, and shy, have had mental health issues your entire life to the point that you're having suicidal thoughts, you're isolated, depressed, refuse to talk to a healthcare provider or a mental health expert about it, and generally unhappy, but it's everyone else's fault?

I don't refuse help - it's that I already know that they can't help me. I've seen the material that they study and It's nonsense by wishful thinking. Many psychologists quit their jobs for this reason - they can't stand it and they can't help. It's also the case that many psychologists become psychologists because they are screwed up themselves and feel a duty to help with something that they simply can't help with; it's like a poor man trying to help people get money. Psychologists can only tell you how to behave normally in a given situation; they can't give you things of value, they can't teach you how to think or how to be smarter, neither can they make you more attractive or healthier - these are biological limits. Priests however can help one to love oneself by preaching God's word but not force people to care for one another. So a thing I tied was imaging I was a Sim. Like the computer game.
Basically to disassociate with myself and see myself as a thing I was controlling. So Bladder/ Hunger/ Energy (sleep)/ Fun/ Social/ and Hygiene, were all things I needed to keep up in my life to keep playing. This might help better if you’ve played the sims and have a reference but I still think its useful to get through those dark days

I say don't give up even when you think its over. Find yourself a hobby, whatever it is. You will make yourself some friends over time. Friends don't want anyone very negative in their life. You gotta go outside and join clubs and seem happy, over time it will start to materialize. Also take care of your physical health, going to walk in your neighborhood can be a good way to meet people and see the beauty of the world you're trying to quit

If you're at that point then you're kinda free in a way.
You could do anything you want and it's better than suicide.
Go on an adventure of some kind or try to help someone who's in a worse situation.
Sometimes if you feel you have nothing to live for you can do a lot of good for others just as something to do and to give you a purpose.
You may find that it leads you down a path that's way more rewarding than what you thought you wanted.

A lot more common than you think man you're not alone, a lot of people think that it's a lot more common in this decade or the 21st century for guys to go into their 20s and never dated anyone, or just people think there are more single adults today than ever before, and some statistics argue and back up saying that the number of single adults living in households has been increasing since the 1990's
