I broke my gold necklace my boyfriend gave me?

so now I don't know how much it will be to fix the chain. it' s cheap necklace but because of sentimental value I want to fix it. how can I fix it? can't I get a lighter and like melt the ends together or something?

just take it in to your local jewler's and they should be able to fix it when I broke my old chain it only cost my 50$ to get it fixed. it wasent a verry valuable chain just regular chain . It depends on the jewler on how much it would cost I would go to a few and have them tell you how much it would cost and take the best deal. It's even better if it's a fam friend cause then you can trust them and you get a good deal

This will sound really lame, but your best bet is just to ask your father. He's know how to fix it, or where to fix it, or if it's worth fixing.

It shouldn't cost too much to take it to a jeweler and get it fixed. I had two broken gold chains, and I took them less than a week to get it fixed.
