Why do daughters of single teen moms repeat their mom's mistake by becoming teen moms themselves?

Scrolling through my Facebook, I see my friends sharing posts from teens (17-19 years old) announcing that that they're pregnant. I've seen several girls who have broken up with their boyfriends, and now they have to take care of a new life, while fresh out of high school. These girls are also daughters of teen moms themselves. If you grew up seeing your mother, who had you when she was 17, struggling, why would you go on and repeat her mistake by sleeping with a guy who doesn't care about you?

It's the paradigm. It's why you see 4th and 5th generation welfare people left and right. It's why most people are average. It's why racism won't go away. It's why you continue to see 3% of the population make 96% of all the money. It's why you see everyone get a job, despite a job being the worse way to earn money. It's why people still think there is a heaven despite Jesus saying he was not God. Despite there being a population less than 1% actually receiving the promises that the Bible talked about. Despite God clearly being amoral and impersonal. Despite the word lord and law being interchangeable in the Bible. It's all the paradigm. The same reason crack heads can't get off the street. Anytime you see someone making a mistake... It is because of ignorance. They don't know about anything I just said and even if they did they still don't know how to change it. A person isn't earning 30k because they want to earn 30k. They are earning 30k because they aren't aware how to earn 100k. People aren't alone and lonely because they want to be alone lonely. They are unaware how to build a meaningful relationship. They don't even know what they don't know. It's the saddest shit in the world. Welcome to my world. The loneliest shit ever. I can only imagine how the people who wrote the Bible felt. To see the whole damn thing misinterpreted because of writing style... Just my vent. Alright im done feeling sorry for myself. Back to it.

Single mothers often have bad parenting skills. They set a bad example for their kids. they often have many different guys come into and out of their lives so their kids think that is normal and end up making the same mistakes.

Bad sex education, limited access to contraceptives, or safe abortions. I wish we would stop acting like the problems with individuals when the problems systemic.

I went to school with these girl, where they taught sex education. We all learned about condoms, puberty, and STD in 5th grade, then again in 6th grade and middle school. Also, I have plenty of friends who are sexually active yet use protections. They're not having sex with no protection then acting shocked when they get pregnant.
