i wouldn't go for a frien'ds crush. if both me and my friend like the same girl, then we won't hit on her or we would talk it out first. if i already i was first and the dude doesn't care then he is not my friend. my friends respect each other, and if one of that did something like that, then all of us would put him in his place.

if it happens to be someone we both know, and we both are crushing hard. im pretty sure we would talk it out and get to "may the best man win" and won't let it get between us.

when i was on a trip abroad with a friend, we both matched on an app with the same girl. we noticed that and started to laugh about it, in the end we wanted to see who she would go for. turned out that after she met 1, she wanted to go out with the other as well 😆. one of the best memories i shared with my homie

lol no. we joked about it but it would have been awkward if we did. either way, we didn't have the chance since after i met her we had to leave town, he stayed another after noon to meet her and joined me in the evening.
but she kept in touch with both of us. until she started sending weird shit and we both kind of stopped replying.

I think the idea is friends should always have your back while relationships often come and go. This is more geared toward the younger crowd I believe. Most people probably had friends who would start dating someone and just ghost the friends group for awhile until the new relationship fell apart.

Two scenarios here

Scenario 1: Your quite into a girl a good friend of yours has been intimate with or it’s been ambiguous or he’s really really into her and he hasn’t got over it. In this scenario it’s a no go zone any close friends from that group should also follow until said friend waves the white flag. There’s loads of other girls out there but close friends when treated right you can keep them forever.

Scenario 2: Both guys are into the same girl, we’ve known her for roughly the same amount of time and we’ve both decided she’s got something rare. In this case it’s game on and may the best man win

It takes years to know someone well enough for that, and I've never met a woman who liked me that waits longer than a few months after meeting me to say so. So I simply never get the chance, women always beat me to it, and I tend to prefer women who persue, so one who needs to be persued, isn't my type.

Also, I pretty much never had friends who tend to like the same type of women.

Thats why the scenario won't happen.

It's not that no one likes them per say, it's that finding someone I can relate to, is so difficult, that
I'm not going to spend the time trying to find male versions when I have zero interest in dating them because I'm straight.

People only date likeminded people successfully, so my guy friends always end up not having the same type as me because of how rare I am.

That all depends if the guy feels a type of way about it but normally the girl is a no go cause obviously the other dude will feel a type of way, there's plenty of fish in the sea, but like I said, it depends cause they guy might say it's fine and at that point it means he won't hold any hard feelings about it but for the friendship it's just better to avoid the girl if she rejected the friend and not shoot your shot
