I told my wife if we had a son she needed to let me know if I needed to get a legal injunction from a court against circumcision or she could sign that she agreed not to. We ended up having two girls so it was a non issue. This is an example of the different standards society has for boys vs girls. It’s a hate crime/crime against humanity fir girls but it’s fine to hack off the end of a newborn boys genitals. Double standard much?
Would you have your daughter's labia cut off? Because that's exactly the equivalent. I never understood why people are so nonchalant about chopping off their boy's foreskin but would flip out about an infant labiaplasty. I think they are equally wrong for a parent to do to their infant.

Absolutely not! If he wants to get circumcised, then he is completely free to make that choice for himself when he becomes an adult, if he wants it so badly!
It’s amazing (and SAD) how The USA, Europe, the G7, The World Health Organization and the UN have ALL come out against female circumcision and declared it a violation of human rights! Yet male circumcision which is done so the boy ”will look more like other American boys” (and to prevent masturbating, just like with female circumcision)! Yet look how the world organizes whole institutions, NGO’s, and entire countries to ban female circumcision (or Female Genital Mutilation “FGM”, as it’s more often called) versus the way Male genital mutation, which gets only a ragtag group of what have often been referred to as “weirdos” and “crazies, protesting the nonconsensual mutilation of their OWN penises, as well as the mutilation of the penises hundreds of thousands of innocent baby boy’s every year, are treated! When I was younger and more fertile, I'd have said that I would let my husband choose or the father of the baby to choose. No. It is simply a cosmetic and unnecessary procedure. It is a load of bullshit to say it is healthier and is cleaner. Those that say that are too scared to teach their kids how to clean themselves. Like, I think most women know to wipe from front to back.
YES in my book. My husband is circumcised and I have always known what it met but had never seen the difference until my husband of at that time of about three months showed me a video of an uncircumcised man and it grew into an erection and I thought OMG it looks like just a tube and a large snake starts to crawl out of it. It actually grossed me out and I about threw up so YES! I would have my son circumcised and I have read that if they don't wash the inside of the foreskin properly, it could get infected. I could NEVER see doing oral on one of those things.

No I would like to give my child the choice, it's technically a choice you take away from them if you do, let's not mention I have also heard from people that they regret getting circumcised because the pleasure is different so personally I'd let them choose, the foreskin is a form of protection to the head of the penis anyways so if it's not broken, don't fix it type of shit you know lol
No. I'm happy with my foreskin and I don't see any good reason to have it removed, unless there is any medical indication. So I wouldn't want to do this to my child. If he wants to get rid of his foreskin, he can make that decision by himself once he's an adult.

Hell no. I was circumcised at birth and I wish I wasn't, but the choice was made for me by my mother.
I don't resent her for it because she didn't know any better. But there is no excuse for it today because we all should know better.
I personally think no one should make that choice for a boy. He should make it himself when he's older. But I think it's disgusting that single mothers can still legally make that decision for a baby boy.
I have 2 sons and no, neither of them are circumcised. Partly because of it not being a thing in my country, almost nobody gets their kids circumcised here, and partly because I absolutely agree with you that it’s abuse and mutilation. It’s a sick thing to do and shouldn’t even be legal (except if there is a medical reason obviously) in my opinion.
Unless there was some rare medical reason then I wouldn't. There's really no purpose to it in the overwhelming majority of cases. It's really just culturally encouraged mutilation. It's considered normal just because it's so widespread but if you actually apply any critical thinking it really is a bizarre practice.

I'm on the fence about that one. Having it done is just to make it easier to keep it clean. Having it done at that age is so he won't really notice it's BEING done. However, NOT having it done increases the sensitivity of the head of his dick so, HAVING it done is robbing him from that sensation. It's the same as cutting away the labia.

I've known men who have gone under the knife purposely later in life because their junk to look a certain way and thats okay too.
