I've had one surprise bday my mother gaslit me into the thinking was a family day weekend with family friends. Never had a bday organized since.

I did ask some friends recently, but between all of our works getting fucked up, it didn't happen.

Something I had to learn: you have to ask your friends to do you a favour.
