Is it bad to move out if you’re being bullied by a roommate?

People told me move out or that they would move out after I described how my roommate acts towards me.

But recently someone else said that it’s like I’m cowering or running away. What am I supposed to do? I want to live in peace I don’t want to spend my energy trying to get a lawyer. I just want to get out the situation. My emotional health is suffering because I’m here living with this person.

ps if you’re Christian please pray for me and this situation. I need to move out and go to a better place.

who cares who what others think, do what you feel is best for you, that's what is important. when it comes down to it, nobody cares about you. Everyone will give their opinion on what you should do with your life, move out or don't move out, but they don't really care about you.

In life, you are the one stuck with the consequences of your decisions. For example, if someone suggests you buy some stocks, but you just don’t feel like it’s the right choice, you are the only one who will live the consequences. If the stock falls and you lose a lot of money, you are the one that will have to live with the fact that you didn’t follow your inner call. When people give you their suggestions or even orders, there is no risk for them. They don’t have to live with your choices—but you do.

I'd get a new place without telling them. Then pack up and have some friends help you move all your stuff out one day without saying a word to the room mate. If you share rent, just leave them in a lurch to scrape up the next payment on their own.

Oh they already know. rent is not shared. I asked if they know anyone who wants my room. No response. Figured I’d ask then it would make it easier to leave if they did have a person.

Those who are telling you you’re a coward are bullies themselves. You have to do what’s best for YOU. If you’re living in a toxic environment, do what you can to get out.
