Throughout my life, usually about half and half. Although, slightly more girls than guys actually.
I believe it’s because a lot of guys bond over watching ball sports, playing ball sports, or playing video games. I’m not into any of those really, except for the occasional gaming session with my significant other.
I enjoy good conversations and discussions with good company, and I suppose there are more girls that are into that than there are guys — at least from my experience.
That’s not to say there aren’t any guys that do that — it’s just not the majority of guys.
For example, a some weeks back, I spoke with a good guy friend of mine for like 3 hours about religion and politics. 😂
(I just find it funny because those are like 2 topics people say to never bring up. But hey, him and I get along well and know how to respectfully disagree whenever we have different outlooks. 🙂)
I’m also very in touch with my inner world in terms of my emotions, and I understand how it is to grow up with a traumatic childhood and struggle against inner demons — that’s something that girls are usually better at discussing about than guys because most guys don’t know how to put their feelings and experiences into words — or they do but they don’t want to appear weak, so they keep it all to themselves.
TLDR: About half and half.00 Reply

Mine only had fellow straight guys and mixed races. After all, there's no reason why either of us would add women to our friendship circle, and even if they got girlfriends or wives, they'd probably let us still do our same old routine of "it's just the guys hanging out" don't ask me why.
I am glad me and my friends are not the American Pie type of guys of neither jocks neither nerds. Just happy. And we don't need women in bikinis for house parties or camp trips lol.01 Reply- 1 y
As we don't do house parties or camping trips. Just at best, coffee, or a movie, or food among the guys in public eateries 🥳
I guess its nearly equal. Depends who I count as my "friendship group". I would say I have an "inner circle" with friends I do much more with and with whom I am much closer. This group has equal genders if I dont count myself as part of my the group.
Counting my friends in general I would say it is nearly equal but hard to count.

I only have male friends. I have female coworkers but that’s all they are. I don’t do anything with them outside of work.

All guys, but the few who are married invite their wives join us for various things.

It's pretty even, 2 girls more but that's not much a difference.
