well either he’s fallen out of (platonic) love or he’s battling an addiction/abuser/etc. or he just hasn’t had the time.
if a person does not reply to a text, just leave them alone. if they wanted to answer, they would have. i don't know what's up with them, but it's their problem, not yours.
He is possibly, trying to let you down easy.
Don’t reach out anymore. If he reaches out, unprovoked, he is still interested in a relationship.
