So I'm moving out now what?

So I bought a house and I'm moving out for the first time but honestly I'm scared because if shit goes wrong I can't call home for help I'm on my own.

My parents never really taught me anything so anything I know is stuff I googled myself I mean yah I can clean and Cook but everything else is odd to me

Good for you, it will feel scary, I was scared when I left home at 21. You will learn quickly as you go. You will get used it. You obviously have the internet at your disposal, google or youtube anything for advice.

There is nothing really hard about living on your own, except the only hard thing about living on your own, is knowing who is best the builder, plumber, etc to get when things go wrong.

Paying bills nothing hard about it, just pay them on time. And try arrange them to suit your financial situation. Like for me, always get them paided straight away, when I get paid, so I know how much I have left to spend for myself for the month. Having your bills spread out through the month, might confused you, on how much money you can spend for yourself.

Don't have house parties.

Get a key safe to put outside somewhere, in a secret place, so you don't lock yourself out. I have one in the garden in my small shed. Just depends on the type of lock you have on your door.

Your parents are supposed to teach you basic home repar and pass the house down to you. I'll never understand why everyone tries to buy their own house.

My family is extremely toxic to the point of life threatening and 2 the house my mom owns would be condemned if anyone saw it it's also in. a deadbeat nowhere town

I also want farm animals so I got a house with land 5 hours away from this hell

like many have stated…put aside 3-6 months of emergency funds. My hubby is only comfortable having a yr. of emergency funds.. so thats what we have.
you didn’t say more about your house/condo… or your income … as long as you have extra funds, you will be okay.
joint NextDoor, if you have in your neighborhood.. some can recommend handy men. Have a few on reference just in case.
other than that, enjoy your new home. And make friends with your neighbors.

what exactly do you need help with? why can't you call? maybe call a friend? a friends parents? being able to cook and clean is essential so you have that. having a job that has a good income is also essential. having a partner also helps so you don't feel like everything is all on you.

I'm running from my toxic family I'm not going to be able to have help from them Im not even completely confident that they won't try to kill me for leaving.

I also don't really have a friends so not really an option

I am engaged but he's not on good terms with his family either and his family wouldn't be any help concidering none of them work or provide for themselves

The trick is to take it one thing at a time. As long as you set aside what you need for your mortgage, you'll be fine. Letting yourself get overwhelmed with the apparent size of any task as a whole will prevent you from getting started.

Try to be tight with your money until you have an extra 6 months worth of expenses saved up. That can help a lot in the future.

Find a good, trustworthy handyman. One who does the work himself, not farms it out to subcontractors.
See if your neighborhood has a facebook group, join it, and ask for tips if problems come up.
