Who loved you more: your mother or your father?

I think my father. My parents divorced when I was young and it wasn't exactly an ideal upbringing from either of them.

Yet my mother had a tendency to prioritize the interests of her boyfriends over me and my little sis. For example, there was one time her boyfriend shouted at my little sister and called her stupid and made her cry (she was only 11 years old) so I punched him in the face, then she sided with him over us and punished us both.

My father also remarried into a large family. Yet at the end of the day, he always seemed to prioritize our interests if there was a conflict.

Also one of her boyfriends left her out of the blue and stole our family car, and with that one, my sister and I were very kind to him. Yet she blamed us for him leaving. So there was always a tendency with my mother to prioritize her boyfriends over us, even when the boyfriend was clearly in the wrong. My father never did that.

i dunno man. my dad doesn't really talk to me much, he has his own life. and my mom depends on me way too much.
