Worse. Trash gets disregarded. Nobody kicks the trash around because they hate it. I understand that there’s a whole other set of issues with being all but ignored as a child. But i received more than a few beatings that definitely left me wishing i was invisible, or dead.

My mother was probably the worst example of being a mother that I can ever recall, and it is a wonder to me that I ever developed into a reasonably sane individual. Some people should not be allowed to reproduce.

Kind of, yes. I rarely saw parents and at the age of 12 I was abandoned. I only saw them one more time after that.
