Ex girlfriend shows up with new boyfriend.

My girlfriend left me three months back in a very crappy fashion. I went without seeing her since late June up until last weekend. Her birthday was last Thursday and I ignored it. That following evening she shows up at a bar I am regularly at with some friends and her new boyfriend. That Sunday she shows back up at the bar with him and left almost immediately after I came in. Why is she always where I am at now? She knows that's where I hang out, it's no secret. My sister said she might possibly regret leaving me and basically came out to find me even though she had no intentions of speaking to me. Her new boyfriend isn't anything special and he's old. I see it as a downgrade and even a "win" for me. So my question is- why does she after all that time show up where she KNOWS I am?

Haha something like this happened to me just a couple days ago. I was going out with this girl and was obvious she really liked me. But because of something stupid we couldn't be together at the moment any longer. So not that long after, she tried to flaunt some new guy around, even though she knows how I feel about it. I am in the same boat as you, I just don't understand why someone would do something so childish and "play games" in a sense. I would say the best bet would be to just ignore the situation, she will feel like her attempt at almost rubbing in it your face didn't work. But best of luck!

sounds like a girl that has no idea what she wants...you're better off without her. she's obviously wanting you to see her with her new guy, hoping you will miss her & see her "living well" in a sense, when in all reality she's not living well at all if she has to flock to where you(a guy she left) are.

Ya it just doesn't make any kind of sense to me. She knows I'm always at this bar or the one down the street. I am a creature of habit and like the same atmospheres. She ironically shows up three months later with a guy? I mean this isn't coincidence. My mother said that she probably regrets leaving me and that her current boyfriend is a rebound who she settled for because she was tired of sleeping around. I'd never take her back anyway due to how she's handled things. I didn't make a scene either.

Plus if I was dating a girl and she was always taking me to bars that her ex was at, it would get old fast. I am a big guy, I have a bad temper and she knows I'd beat him to within an inch of his life. But, I am not going to do that because it's not worth my time. I think it's bratty of her to do this.

simple. she wants you to feel jealous that you can't keep her. oldest trick(and lamest )in the book. never works as you can tell. and she's showing off how fast she can move on. this makes girls feel like the alpha of her pak of friends. kinda like how guys fistfight to figure that out.

She probably is trying to make you jealous. If she knew that was your place to hang out there's no other reason she would be there other then to see you.
