Why are most mothers so feisty and blunt?

My mom is a very sweet lady but she has a funny way to show it. She is very fiesty, witty and has the best comebacks especially when it shuts up people. Like the woman is a beast (In a good way).

She calls things as it is. She will tell you the truth either you like it or not. No filter. She’s an amazing woman though and caring. She is far from nice but she is very kind and sweet. She doesn’t show it too much.

When you become a parent, especially a mom, your tolerance for bullshit, disrespect and mind games becomes significantly less. You’ve got bigger things to focus on, and you become your child’s advocate, so you have to metaphorically grow some balls and stand up for your family in many situations.
