What if a daycare teacher told a parent that they could watch their own kid too?

Honestly parents are fully blind to how awful and nasty Thier brats are! Worked with kids and they are the worst and you can tell they get it from Thier parents usually not caring or not spanking!

I'll take away your video games... So they have to play outside like we did as kids? How is that a punishment?

Like I said they can watch their own damn kid why is it the teacher’s responsibility to punish them if it is only a one way street. Like how is the kid going to learn if the parent doesn’t reciprocate?

Cause they don't wanna parent! Poeple make it perfectly clear your to teach and discipline Thier kids according to Thier rules which they won't ever tell you about!

One kid got ice cream cause I was a mean teacher for making him sit in his seat during class!

Kids are bouncy but this kid just got up randomly and walked every where talked to any kid...

They would not believe me till I took his phone and recorded a class period. The principle laughed when they said I was stiffilong his creativity and thinking making him sit.

The kid soon went to jail latter as a teen for stealing and is back in jail. Wonder why?

They want you to raise these kids but to not say no! Almost every year was told to never say No to kids!
Woke parenting does not work and no one wants to say it's a bad idea!

We are not “allow” to record! Amazing right…
So I did (without the kids face) …
Also the school counselor watched in from my classroom door window… to observe the kids behavior … well… us teachers have no right.

@midnightmoon05 there are cameras in the classrooms that way they know that you are not abusing the kid. I don’t see what is the big deal in parents disciplining their own kids. I’m not going to do it because no telling what they say they probably try to say I’m abusing the kid or something. Even putting a child in time out can be considered the wrong thing to do.

No right and the cameras were not in our school I got special permission! All for the parents to insult us over it.
The big issue is parents don't discipline Thier kids! They make sure we can't and blame us when this kid acts out!
A friend of mine got fired for telling a kid to put his head down and listen. Not time out not go see the principle to put her head down and stop talking loudly.

Yeah they don’t want us to do anything but put up with it.

Pay daycare rates and maybe 🤔 teacher rates need to be as much as doctors rates. One parent for one day should volunteer to help with class. With 36 kids per classroom it's about one a month!
To at least help and see Thier kids are awful!

Day care settings to have clear structures, rules for parents when they sign up… if they don’t like the day care rules they go elsewhere.

Because daycare center the people who run it allow parents to run over the workers.

Doesn’t mean that who runs it obeys by it just like the school system they are too scared of the parents.

It’s not right that the parents always pretend like their kid never does anything wrong and don’t want to punish their own child.

They will have to deal with their child for 18 years or what ever years…
Your job is to babysit, and make sure they are not hurt… sadly this is where we are…

we are raising kids from adult babies… so you can’t really reason with them.

I’m saying that if it’s not my child and the parent shouldn’t get mad if I want them to discipline their own child. It’s not my responsibility to discipline other peoples kids because the parents probably aren’t going to like the way on how you discipline them.

If you are the day care owner… or the teacher… you do have the responsibility to set rules …

No you do not have you ever worked in a daycare center before like you can’t punish a kid the way that you want to and the rules aren’t that strict to what you may believe that they are.

Are you able to get licenses to work in a school…? Better pay and retirement?

I guess choose another profession because they will never pay teachers that much money they aren’t going to be rich doing what they do.

I’m at public school now. I wouldn’t be a teacher if I would have known better but it’s not too late I live in a small town it is hard to find decent jobs when you live in rural area.
