My wife and I don't want kids but my parents want grandkids, how should I tell them?

She and I talked and decided we didn't want kids before marrying, but my parents said they hoped for grandkids someday, they'll probably be disappointed.

You and your partner are adults. You can decide for yourself about your life and your future. Of course, many older people hope to have grandchildren. Nevertheless, it is only their wish and in no way an obligation for you. The next time they bring it up, just say openly what you think and that you will decide on it alone. The parents must, and hopefully will, accept it.
