Do you have a platonic friend? Is it really platonic?

I had crushes on ALL my male friends at one point or another because tbh I don't friend people I think are ugly LOL. Some I got to know better and quit liking, some where just off bounds because they were whores, others just weren't into me, some had gfs so for the most part yeah they can be pretty platonic.

I've had two, and I wanted to and did smash both. I also really enjoyed their company. So were we platonic? At times I'd like to say yes. Did I have ulterior motives as well? Yeah probably. I think most men on honest reflection are likely the same. I do however believe that women believe they have platonic friends.

it's normal to occasionally consider dating them, but it's platonic when you keep it at friendship level despite when that happens. like you understand the feelings will pass and dont act on them

I have 3 really platonic friends. One is much younger and it's kind of like a big sis/lilttle bro relationship. The other two are just a couple years older so, basically, the same age. I'm married and one of my friends is married and the other just got engaged The friendships are completely platonic. If neither of us were married, I think that friend and I might be interested in a relationship. But, we have made sure we know each others' spouses and we do couple things together regularly.

It's really platonic because the potential ambiguity has been cleared up, it's been our case as we have discussed our lack of romantic interest for each other, a few times over the years. We keep clashing with our respective romantic expectations. Not a match !
