I am graduating in a few months and of course I want my mom there but I'm a bit worried about my friends seeing her. Everyone else's parents are fit and I feel really awkward about having her there. I know this is coming off kind of mean and blunt, but I don't mean it like that at all, I'm already so different than everyone and I don't want this to be one more thing to outcast me.
Thanks for the advice in advance!.

Close your eyes. Do you love your mom.. has she Sacrifice to give you things
Does your mom have a beautiful heart
If something was to happen to her today. How up set would you be
When you say you love your mom.
Do you love the person on the in side..
If somebody was harming her.
What would you do?
I used to hate doing places with my sister
Because she is big.
I didn't want my friends to see me or anyone that knows me. Because if they didn't know that she was my sister they might think I was dating her
That was a long time ago In today's world it still bothers me but I deal with it because She is who , she is
And if she wanted to lose the weight she could have done it by now
And I don't care what people think anymore They can say or do anything they want
Because I know the truth and that's all that matters
And it's not about you, it's not about me. When we are around our family it's about. They need to make their own choices. And I guess they have because they're still big
If I was with my sister and people were Looking at this or they said anything I would protect her. And I would hope that you would do the same for your mother.. Close your eyes and think about everything. She's been through to help you become who you are today. And she has done the best that she can possibly do because she loves you.
You need to love her too, and if people look at her that's their choice, let them judge, let them do or say whatever they want.
In the long run, they are the people to get hurt. Not your mom, not you.
Let's pretend for a min we are just starting to date. .
We arec Going to go someplace. arec And I say my mom's gonna come but my mom's really fat and she embarrasses me sometimes
I don't know what to do.
But i'm in there so I keep talking better about her
How do you see me what kinda of boyfriend would I be what kinda friend would I be..
Would you judge me? Would you look at me as if I was not caring
But i'm trying to say No matter what your mom looks like.. she's your mom
From day 1... to this day. . She has done her best to raise you. The best way to try to give you everything you wanted to help you succand to raise you the best way she knows how
And you can love her or you can dislike her as much as you want to. That's up to you, it's your choice. If somebody judges your mom.
And we know that there are tons of people in this world that would do that
But.
Those people are no better than you or anybody else If they're talking crap about your mom... so what They are the bad people for talking c*** about anybody.
And if somebody walks up to you an asks you if that is your mother
And you say yes
And if they say she's fat
Wrinkle up your nose get a disgusting look on your face With a tone in your voice. Like when you where five. Stomp your feet and say she is to..
O k so All the above i'm not really saying anything. Except love your mom she loves you. ... and if someone says anything negative about her... All you have to do is say Hey. We both know that she's a little bit heavy. But don't talk any crap about my mom
Be proud of her not Embarrassed Because that shows your true character Sorry about the book l o l
Yes, some people have felt embarrassed about having a parent who is overweight. It's not uncommon to experience anxieties about how others might perceive your family, especially during milestone events like graduation. These feelings often stem from societal pressures and a desire to fit in, and it's important to remember that such feelings don't reflect your inherent value or your parent's worth. Many people eventually realize that their parent's love and support are far more important than any fleeting social discomfort.
I was embarrassed of my parents being poor and stupid when I was growing up. Similar sentiment. It feels awkward when you are the child making better choices than your adult parents.
