Red Flags in Friendships. What are some of the reasons that would make you end a friendship?

Disloyalty is the biggest one for me


Friends that talk about you behind your back
Or deny knowing you when they wanna hang out with a certain crowd


My friend needs to be proud being welcomed into such a small circle


Fortunately this is one area of my
Life where I’ve some decent success in the past and still know how to make friends to this day


Even though there are days when I feel like I’m all alone and could use new friends, these feelings don’t usually last

Lies often, terrible responsiveness (either takes too long to respond, responds with very little care or content, or both), being petty, tries to compete and gets jealous of your success, puts you down to put themselves up, narcissistic, etc.

Lies, Betrayal, Untrustworthiness, Somebody that's sneaky. If you've seen them lie, betray, hurt, or backstab another person then chances are they'll do the very same thing to you, when you least expect it!!! Oh, and seeing them cheat on their partner or sleeping with somebody else's partner, just means they're no good!!!

Betrayal! I trust that person with my life, putting all my secrets out there on a "silver platter" for them to be part of my "deep life" and they do what? "spill the beans" to someone else? Nahhh! We are Done... Then and There!

My reasons go anywhere from the extremes like hitting me, yelling at me, being manipulative and abusive to things as petty as refusing to do things when I tell them to, or liking an anime I don’t like

I guess it boils down to not keeping a promise. Inevitably, friendship implies trust. Trust almost always implies sharing very personal stuff. Stuff you wouldn't tell just anyone.

Discovering a friend has consistently lied to you, especially about important matters.

Dishonesty would be the big one. Once trust is lost its difficult to get it back. Lack of respect for others would be another one.

Inconsistency. They act friendly one day and the next not. Then next they do, and the next they don't. After a while you are like why can't you make up your mind?

He was homeless and knew a homeless guy that got killed for knowing another homeless guy killed someone because he knew he killed someone. He called me to vent and I told him not to tell me what he knew and he did. Blocked his number.
