Would this annoy you, or am I overreacting?

My aunt lives with me. Has been for the past 6 months. Its okay for the most part, but she does this one thing. It happens regularly. So today she said she was gonna go to take a nap for a couple of hours. Its nice because I could go to my room to rest too, so I did that for about a half hour. She came to my door, and asked if she could come in. She said that there is something on her mind that it preventing her from shutting her eyes. She told me that her friends daughter overdosed. I already knew because my mom told me this morning. So then my aunt went on about other things for several minutes, and then left. 20 mins later she comes in my room again and says that she can't sleep because she is craving a hot fudge Sunday. Then she aksed if I could go to dairy queen to get her one, and that I could get something too. She paid, but I just wanted to take a nap. This sort of stuff happens on a regular basis, and im just wondering if I have the right to be kind of annoyed.

I would be annoyed, yes. Any annoyance about anything whatsoever you, or anyone, feel is always, intrinsically valid. So the right, you have. And your duty, as an adult, is to find balance somewhere, anywhere, with what you're going to do with what we feel.

She must be having something else other than what she's told you and she might need some support, she sounds nervous 👍🏻

You can be annoyed but maybe she’s lonely or unaccustomed to living with someone or rather, too accustomed. She won’t be there always. Communicate honestly and kindly how you feel about what you expect, to her.

You can’t just say “no, you can doordash it” or something?

She doesn't know how to doordash. It would be easier to just go to dairy queen.
