What's the worst way to lose a child?

I don't wish that on not even my worst enemy. That has to be horrible. Among these ways to lose a child, which would you say is the worst, most impacting:

- Any accident/sudden death (SIDS, hear attack, drowning in pool, auto accident, explosion, gas inhalation etc)

- Disease/illness (meningitis, cancer, virus, etc)

- Suicide (they hanged themselves after getting bullied, cheated on, etc)

- Murder (beaten or shot to death, stabbed, pushed towards a cliff, etc)

- Life sacrifice (they got in front of danger, died saving you or others)

- Animal attack/mauling (pitbull, shark, bear, etc)

Accident or sudden death

Disease/illness

Suicide

I don't think there is any "worst" way to lose a child as a loss of a child is always devastating. I think perhaps, grieving for the loss of a child - that is still alive, is probably the hardest. Being told to say good bye to their children numerous of times, see their health & quality of life decline, deal with guilt for trying to give the rest of the family (siblings) a small sense of normality.

Yeah outliving a child is the worst thing that can happen to a parent. Ideally no parent should go through the ordeal of burying a child.

I reckon suicide.
Because normal people really want their own children to be happy and healthy. It’s obvious a person would have to be very unhappy if they want to kill themself.
