I learned something a long time ago
I fell for one of my friends to we were just good close friends and she could tell that I was turning it up little more every day. And one day it all came together
We those put ourselves in a position to wear that friendship is going to go a lot deeper
And she got a phone call and when she was talking to the person that she was talking to I started to see and hear side of her that as a friend it's whatever but as a partner or boyfriend if we went that direction I probably wouldn't put up with that so in that moment I had to really think about things if we get together I know it would be just a matter of time before it would end or we don't get together and we've remain friends and this friendship has been going on for 25 years and it's still stronger than strong so
Maybe you have to explain it to him like that like my friend said she was willing to go for it even though she knew it wouldn't last probably but she just wanted to do it experience it so
We both made the choice to remain friends and not lovers and maybe that's what you have to explain to him if you were to get into a relationship with him and it didn't work out there goes the friendship
If a man has romantic feelings for you, and you don't feel the same, then for his own emotional well-being, he's going to need to stay away from you. You aren't obligated to date him, but he's not obligated to continue being friends with you when doing so causes him pain.
Part of being an adult is learning to accept and deal with losses. Most are out of your control, but they can still be painful to deal with, and yet, we all must. That's life.
It’s okay to miss them. But it’s also important to respect their boundary and space to move on because they’re probably going through a stage of moving on & healing. It is unfortunate when this happens in friendships though.
Absolutely nothing. If you’ve left the door open, that’s it. It’s up to them to grow up and be friends or to just walk away. Some folks can’t tolerate seeing you with someone else.

"A friend stopped talking to me because they developed romantic feelings for me. I miss them, what should I do?"
"they" - or he?
"them" - or him?
That's probably the most annoying aspect of the gender benders - they have ruined language.
@Bulutsuツ Okay, putting singular vs. plural aside, I suppose the best you can do is maintain friendly email and text messaages. You cannot control what he does, but you can control what you do.
If you don’t like them the same then straight out tell them you only like them as a friend , if they can’t accept that with you , then they were never a friend to begin with , they were pretending to be your friend so they could get closer to you , Go put on that clown outfit and scare the shit out of them if they can’t accept your decision lol
You should accept this as a life lesson. Sometimes this happens, it’s not your fault, there’s nothing you can do about it, and the best thing you can do is say goodbye and go your separate ways.
Respect their boundary for now. Trying to force a friendship while their feelings are still fresh will only make it harder for them to heal and move on. Distance is often the only thing that cools down romantic feelings.😉
Move on. It is what it is. He had feelings. You didn't. That's awkward and painful for him. Not having him around is painful for you. But you both shared your honest feelings and it didn't work out. There's nothing to do but move on.
Well if you don't share those feelings then there is NOTHING you can do. I mean you can REQUEST a continuation of a platonic relationship. But more often than not after one of the two people involved catches feelings it becomes impossible. And you need to respect that.
Sometimes it's best to move on rather then to wreck your brain about them it's terrible to stop talking to you cause you're a very nice person you deserve better friends.
Thank you
Okay, think about it from his point of view. He has to sit across from you and pretend that everything is okay.
I don't know. If you're not interested in that kind of relationship there's not much you can do. He'll just be like that.
Not much you can do though its a bs reason if ya ask me, keeping a bond is better
Why? Are they in a committed relationship with someone else.
Unfortunately that is their choice. You can try to discuss it with them but he should have tried that first and try to let him know you think you can still be friends. He may not feel you can though.
Reach out to you. But they might be hurt that you rejected them.
Let him go you will only make his life hard because you dont answer his feelings
Did they stop talking to you because you rejected them?
I mean you could try to reconnect but make it clear that you don't feel the same way.
Talk to them. Thats something that you two can work through if both of you want to. Did you develop romantic feelings for him or her as well or do you want to just keep it platonic
So talk to him and see if you two can work through this
I don't know but this little girl in the picture is extremely cute 😂😂
You're welcome
And you just wanted to be friends? I believe that women and men can just be friends but often one will drift into this territory.
My girlfriends always rapidly developed a non-platonic interest. I have had more female just friends than most men and I have never been in his current shoes both because I would always act more apathetic towards them in the romantic regard and I was involved with an actual girlfriend which truncated quality time with the "just friends" woman. But back to you. Tell him that to you (important) in particular, something about him hasn't jived as far as that chemistry goes. This keeps it from coming across as "who'd wanna be your significant other." Since he has a heterosexual frame of reference, he is dead reckoning what you don't see in him.
Do you have romantic feelings for this person?
They have to do what's best for their mental health.
So, what is stopping both of you from having a romantic relationship? Are you currently taken? Is he? Is it something else?
no matter what do not reach out again. if u dont like them back then don't talk to them unless u wanna create more drama
Listen to @OlderAndWiser and @MrOracle on this
Probably friendship was never their goal
Wear your clown face and go by and visit
I don't know how to respond to that
Time to find new friends
Allow him what they wants
Was it a girl or guy?
Talk to them
Move on
Ask them out?
