Is it weird that my married coworker bought me lunch and paid?

He was training me that day and asked if I brought anything I said no but he was heading to zaxbys and I said I’ll pay back he said it’s okay I got you. And bought me lunch and brought it to me is that weird?

Not weird I believe do nice things to other people and blessings will come your way. Not sure how someone being possitive with good energy would be weird to you.

He might have a company budget for that. He also might be able to claim his own lunch if he includes yours and calls it out as something to do with the company.

He could just be being nice and it inly cost $10 or so. Don’t make too much of it unless it gets weird later.

99% chance he was being nice and welcoming. If he does it regularly after you have been there a while and isn't training you then it is weird.

Because it’s a simple gesture, anyone can do it, I think you’re just making a thing of it because he’s a guy. It would be more prominent if he were doing excess things, like hovering around you at work, always offering to buy your lunch or breakfast, often asking personal questions about your dating life, asking to hang out off the clock. Like let it be something substantial not buying some freaking $12 zaxby’s meal. Come on. Only women who don’t have success with men make big deals of things like this. Respectfully.
