and give them a chance or not anymore? I invited last week some relatives to come over to my house this coming Sunday for some coffee and mingle. I invited my uncle, his wife, my aunt and his son (from my dad side) , my cousin and his girlfriend (my uncle son), my sister and his husband. I invited them because my brother told me that from time to time it be nice to invite these relatives to our house as they always invited us to go to their house. Tehy invited us more to go to their house than us invite them to come to our house. The invitation was last week but I only had to confirm the time this week. Since there were going to be like 15 people I order some pastries to some an acquaitance who bake goods. Today I told everyone the time (5pm). My uncle told me he could at 5pm, my aunt was hesitant as for her it was kind of late for coffee so she was not convinced about the hour. My sister told me also it was late because she could not stay for along tme at the house that if it be earlier maybe she could stay longer.
My cousin girlfriend told me that she had a birthday of her own cousin so she could not (anyway she did tell me when I invited her for the first time last week, she was not sure anyway for this birthday, today she just confirmed me she could not). SInce everyone said it was late, I change to 4pm then. Again I contact my uncle and aunt to tell them about the change , I mean I contact them about the change just hours after I told them about the 5pm. When I told my uncle about it was 4pm he told me, "Ohh I dont know, I have a flu so Im not sure I let you know". I mean he told me he could come at 5pm 3 hrs earlier and then he told me that now he can't at 4pm because he is starting to have a flu, I mean hello? I question him how come and he responded me: "Well the flu started after I told you Yes the first time" . So I contact my aunt and told her the event was called off due for the reasons I stated.

I definitely think you should give them another chance. Simply put — this was kind of short notice for a gathering of so many people. You reached out last week, but the invitation wasn’t really complete because a time wasn’t set. Having a date with no time puts people in a tough spot, which leads them to schedule other commitments how your sister did. Arguably 5pm is kind of late for a coffee date, given they could have work the next day and coffee will energize rather than wind them down for bed. Also, shifting from 5pm to 4pm without much notice causes other logistical chaos, since they’re already trying to carve or time for a last-minute date in the first place. Sure, your uncle suddenly having the flu feels rather convenient and like an excuse, but he could’ve genuinely felt like his illness was kicking in as the afternoon went on. I’ve had the same happen, feeling alright-ish in the morning and by evening I’m totally sick.
In any case, I think their history of regularly inviting you guys to different occasions shows that they value the relationships. I wouldn’t throw in the towel simply because this single time you made a plan didn’t go how you wanted, you just have to plan better next time. Since you’re inviting so many people and not just like 1-3 people, you need adequate time for everyone to get their schedules situated, at least a couple weeks. Also make sure you lock in both date AND time.
Yes, you don't have much to lose.
