Either every internet makeup artist has bad acne scars or it's a result of wearing to much makeup everyday. To the people who say they don't see people wear this type of makeup everyday then you aren't around makeup artist a lot. This is basically advertisement for their business.

If the first girl took control of her acne and got rid of the scars she'd look the best without makeup. Second would be the Tina Young chick. I don't understand why people who make this kind of money refuse to go to a dermatologist...

But yes I do agree this is false advertisement and if I was a guy and found out later what she really looked like I'd be pissed. But you can't tell me you didn't realize she was wearing makeup. Like come on!

I believe, you shouldn't wear so much makeup that it makes you look differently, than the person you really look like. Women wearing lots of make up should learn not to over-do that.

Girls who suffer from acne or other blemishes; look for a skin-care doctor if no natural/home/bought remedies/solutions help. They know how to help your face to look better. During puberty that is normal. I had that too and thought it would never end.

But I am 20 now and my skin looks amazing. Barely any acne and stuff at all. Someday, it should end, there is always a solution for this.

But FREAKING REALIZE that makeup will not make it better but WORSE. If that's what you want, go for it. It's your face anyway.

Whatever you do, it is uo to you anyway. But don't get mad if people stare at you for wearing too much of the good.

How incredibly condescending and uninformed of you to talk skincare like women who wear make up have no idea what they're doing. People can have old scars or conditions in which the skin is always inflamed or darkened. If you don't like make up, you don't wear it. If you don't like a lot, you don't wear a lot. Not every woman walks around thinking of herself as an advertisement. Some of us just like the process and the fun of it :) Besides, if a person has acne or dark circles or hyper pigmentation, who are you or guys to say "that's too much" You try to walk around with scars on your face and feel down about it... if make up is there and can cover it up, why not utilize that? Where is the sense in that? Also, a lot of guys are agreeing with you but they're the same ones who are like "I like natural best" k, so, is acne not detracting?

in my opinion i think girls who apply too much makeup r just too much i'ma girl myself n i dont really apply anything on my face even though i dont really like my face a lot but its ok to enhance it as long as your features stay the same. changing your features such as your mouth skin tone is just like photoshopping everything n wearing another persons face shows that ur ungrateful to your face even if people hate your face u have to learn to love yourself that's what make yourself unique by embracing it.

Girls are judged so harshly on their appearance, it's understandable they're insecure and use make up. They shouldn't be judged for it too. Everyone should do with their faces and bodies as they please, and those who have a problem with heavy make up, have a choice of going after girls that don't use any.
Personally, it's important to me that a girl isn't fake as a *person* and that has nothing to do with appearance. Being genuine is about personality, not about amount of make up someone uses.

We are so accustomed to women wearing makeup it has become normal expect this level of beauty all the time.

It's like the male brain has become hard wired to believe women are naturally this beautiful and the moment we see a familiar face without makeup our jaws drop to the floor.

I understand women like to wear makeup NOT for men but for their confidence, but I would like to think a world without makeup would mean more confident and less insecure women with a realistic standard of beauty for men to appreciate.

I think women should wear all the makeup they want after all its their face, life, etc. You should worry about yourself and less about what other women do. If guys fall for these type of women well it's up to them and what they do later depends on them. I just hate it when girls and even guys say "why do you wear makeup?" Well because they want to duhhh. People just need to worry less about what other people do.

Who are you to say that women shouldn't use makeup? It is their choice to use it or not. Make up or not, it doesn't make a girl fake. What makes them fake is pretending to be something they are not or they are backstabbers. A girl can not wear makeup and be a fake prude as much as a girl can wear make up and be the sweetest, kindest person on the planet. Beauty is skin deep, its not always about a girls looks or her make up, it's about her heart and soul.

if you're fake. get caught out and exposed as fraudulent, serves you right and don't deserve any sympathy. your downfall will give those of us who can't be fake something to chuckle at if nothing else. maybe the human brain just has a pathological need to pretend - who knows!

If I see a woman without make up, I think she's too modest. I always wear BB cream, mascara, eyeliner and lipgloss/lipstick. If I had to go to school without them, I would feel myself bad. I don't use makeup because of boys, I use it for myself, because I don't want to be seen that way. Once a boy said that another, I think avarage girl, looks better than me, because she looks good without make up as well. It was very hurting, especially, that I saw that she was wearing eyeshadow, mascara, maybe eyeliner, but boys can't see that.

I don't think she was making the comment towards you or the take but towards the men who fall for that shit, it wasn't really meant to be a highly intelligent opinion, it was more of a smart ass remark.

Also I kind of think that some men don't mind a lot of make up, I mean they claim they don't like it but they drool all over women who have it caked on regardless. I think it all depends on the woman as a whole honestly. Men are very in the moment a lot of the time.

make up has evolved so much over the years , it's hard to differentiate what's fake and what's natural, a decade back you could find a women who looks this way naturally without any makeup , guys don't crave for perfect girl or a beauty , they want a girl who looks attractive to them not some painted bimbo who can't leave her house without make up

Look, men aren't really interested in make-up themselves. I, too, find it hard to know if someone has makeup on. I don't have a clue at all what kind of make-up, and how many of it is applied. And I mostly don't even think of make up, I just think like: Oh she looks fine. (not even considering make-up). I guess guy's are bad at those things.

A strong woman is someone who knows how to lift other women up instead of bringing them down. I'm not saying anything, but I feel like there are other things to worry about than how much makeup a woman is wearing. I agree with everyone else who says that what is fake about a woman is not the amount of makeup, but the way the present themselves. A woman with a fake personality is more fake than someone who feels comfortable wearing what seems like "too much makeup".

you know people that look better receive better treatment from society. this is simply natural selection. better looking people historically are the people who can fill in their nutritional needs the best, thus these are the people who can survive the best so they have the best chances are reproduction.

in my opinion i can tell even how natural make up looks because skin ALWAYS has flaws. these flaws make us unique human beings.

men should learn from this. if we want better treatment from society we'd do well to take better care of our appearance.

Just because women wear makeup doesn't mean they are trying to snag men. We wear it to feel good for OURSELVES. I could care less what men think of me, or even other women. I wear makeup to feel good with myself.

Your confidence is derived from men looking and liking you. Looking better with make up attracts men which in turn boosts your confidence. If you lived in a small island alone would you wear make up? NO. This shows you that it's partly because of other people having an effect on you.

Woman is not obligated to show all her imperfections to all men around her just so they will know everything about her before they make the decision they want to date. Should we forbid women with saggy breasts wearing bra, because that is apparfently false advertisement! Should we make men with small penis walk around with a huge bilboard that says "I have small penis". Wearing make up is no different from wearing a bra. And just because you dislike heavy make up, doesn't mean it is wrong. Some people like it. It is the way they are and want to look. Have you ever thought that girls might not cover their acne just to attract guys, but also to hide their insecurity. The girl in the top picture got bullied on the interned. She was told she looks disgusting because she has acne. If she feels more confident wearing make up, sje has right to wear that.
Also it is so naΓ―ve to think you can get rid of acne by just washing your face and by not using make up. Wake up.

Okay, so you didn't read the whole thing. Nice. You didn't even read half of it. Please go back and make sure you read everything. That's kind of essential when forming an opinion, in case you didn't know.
I clearly pointed out that I know women don't wear makeup for guys. Like, no shit. I didn't say all makeup was false advertising either. I said basic skincare tips, not miracle skincare tips that will get rid of all your blemishes and acne. Many people have chronic acne, which is usually very hard to clear up. The 2nd and third picture is more than just heavy makeup. It is being fake. I know wearing makeup is a form of expressing yourself. Once again, Iused Juliet Simms from Warped Tour this year as an example. She wears heavy makeup, not all the time, but 3-4 times a week. Other than that it's just no makeup or very light eyeliner and lip gloss. I also pointed out how women think that much makeup is just enhacncing your features. No, it's not.

You obviously didn't understand my opinion either. I read your take. I know you appreaciate the fact that makeup can be turn to art. And I know you know that girls don't always make up for guys. But then why wearing heavy make up is false advertisement? If girl likes heavy make and thinks it looks good, she wears it for herself, how is it false advertising. She is not advertising herself. You say it is okay to use conceler to hide some acne but it is basicly hiding your skin, how is it different from contouring? It doesn't make you fake. It doesn't completely change your face.
Many of the pictures above are photoshopped, camera angles are different etc. Ofcourse they look different.
And the skincare tips. Great. Basic tips. But like you already seem to know, they don't always work. So only way I can hide some scars is make up. I do add enough make up to hide them completely. Is that fake? No, they are still there, but not for everyone to see.

If you know that is what I appreciate and stated, you shouldn't have used points that would have made sense if I didn't.
These women's skin tone is a completely different tone than their natural one. That's the difference between concealer and a shit load on contouring. You don't fill in your eyebrows so they are 5x thicker than they are without makeup, or basically change your lip color. You don't use blush, bronzer, and foundation to the point where it looks like I can dig my fingernails through your skin and get layers of makeup under the nails. And no, I know a lot of people who's with/without makeup are as drastic as the 2nd girl. It's not just these photos, and pictures online.

omfg what is with you feminist hippies

if a persons opinion is not all "lovey dovey girl power" you guys automatically flip out, and just classify them as having "mental problems" or "trolling" because you are too ignorant to comprehend the fact people have less than popular opinions, regardless of how smart and "including" you think you are, you are more excluding to the "trolls" you are calling out

Get over yourself and face reality. My take owner has some pretty valid points.

Again, the light and photoshop. Beyonce has different shade of skin in every picture. And some people do use a lot of foundation and shit. You may think it looks tasteless but they like it and will wear it because they like it. And tanning. Is that false advertising too if you have a fake tan?

@lucylovexo. Omg what is up with you anti-feminist hippies. I have different opinion from hers and I shared it because I wanted. Please notice that you alse flipped out because I shared my own opinion. You face the reality. This is fucking internet and I have right to share my opinion (just like take owner did) as I make just as much valid opinions, in my opinion. And yeah in my first comment I though she was stupid. That is because I though take owner assumed that you can get rid of acne and skin problems by just washing your face, she later explaned she didn't think that.

I personally believe it's a woman's choice the amount of makeup they wear. Some woman wear makeup because it's fun to make bone structure and it's fun to change your face. Why is it so bad that they make them selves look differant. Sometimes believe it or not people don't wear makeup to catch a guy. And the guy should love them for their personality not looks.

I really don't wear makeup because of those reasons. I'm not attractive and for makeup to look good on me I'd need to wear a ton. I don't want a guy to be disappointed when I take it off. However that is my choice.

I don't think it's fair to judge a woman who wants to wear makeup to look better. I wouldn't call her fake. In fact, some women use makeup to express their personalities.

I think calling a woman a fake for wearing makeup is the same as calling her fake for dressing up.

So if you happen to have really bad acne and are really self conscious about it, you shouldn't cover it up to make yourself feel more confident and feel beautiful because what?
You'll give some guy the wrong impression? Because you owe a complete stranger that? Because you have to give up doing your makeup how you like to do it all to appease someone else?

    Seriously that's dumb.
