I'm not meaning throw out all those amazing heels, just make sure you've invested in some comfortable shoes that relax your feet! High heels can be a danger to your body if worn too regularly.

1. Tendons
I'm not meaning don't wear those heels to your event or presentation. I'm talking about releasing your feet to let them rest in the time between, before and after all your events.
Thatβs because wearing heels day after day can make the fibres in the calf muscles shorten and cause the Achilles tendon to become tighter and thicker. This will eventually cause chronically taut and shortened ankle and calf tendons because they get so used to being crunched up that when you flatten your foot"
2. Body Alignment
This is due to the fact that your feet is on a slope, the weight of your foot is purely put on the ball and the toes of your foot. Those small tiny toes, aren't able to carry all of your pressure, and with this, your weight is all thrown to the front of your foot causing your hips to be pushed forward and your back to arch, causing strain.
3. Lazy
I'm pretty sure all of us have been through that time when we wear heels that you need to continually sit down at whatever time you can to just rest your feet! This is ready your warning lights of the pain your causing throughout your body!
If you have to wear heels, do it! Just remember to rest and relax those feet! π
