Points taken but no offense intended by it at all. Society wants women to believe they NEED make up to be attractive, that they're UGLY without it so they'll keep buying it (a lot of women say this, that they feel ugly without it), and all we're saying is that's not the case at all. It's not NEEDED. If you want/choose to wear it, fine.
Now granted, they way some guys say this might be lacking, but most guys aren't looking to offend or make up upset by it.
1. Why do women wear make up then? If it's not to impress guys then why wear it? "oh i've just wok-" no one is going to see you when you have woken up. And how can you "wear it for me"? You can't see your face other than in the mirror. You going to sit in front of a mirror all day?
2. Why do you care about my opinion? It's my opinion, not yours.
3. I've seen girls without make-up, they definitely look a gorillion times better without trying to look like Krusty the Clown.
4. I think saying someone looks naturally beautiful without putting shit on your face is a nice compliment.
5. Ah yes, not being able to say to someone "ya know ya look better without that clown shit on your face"
Actually, make up is designed to extenuate the features and hide the flaws on a female to attract mates.

Well, most girls I know use make-up to look good in public, not ''just for themselves''.

People don't understand the difference is for themselves and others/society. That's like saying I wear stylish clothes for myself. No you don't. You do it to feel impressive/less vulnerable around others.

"Some" not the majority. Just because someone enjoys the act of putting make up on or styling someone else doesn't mean that they only do it for them.
I still like most women (i only speak for those I've seen with and without) with minimal to no make up. Plus i do agree its not a compliment to some but when one of those girls asks me: "how do i look" i can and will probably say "too much makeup". Just stating personal opinion.

FYI the whole point of makeup is to hide a persons flaws and highlight their existing features, and to attract a mate, partner.
Wow. The negativity in this take is outrageous lol. I'd be glad to hear if a guy likes how I look without makeup. It's not in any way an insincere compliment... Most guys mean what they say and they don't even care about the little imperfections. Honestly I do take it as a compliment. Its like me telling a guy he looks more handsome when he shaves. Did he shave for me? No, but its just a compliment and observation which will in most cases put a smile on his face.😊

Some women look good with make-up and without it, some only look good only with make-up or only without it. That's only from my point of view, maybe others have different oppinionss
I agree with the secound third and fourth opinion, but i have a hard time beliving your first opinion. I mean there is no reason to make yourself look pretty if it weren't for the fact that you care about other peoples opinion of how you look.
How about because it makes me FEEL pretty? Honestly, why would I bother putting shit on my face for half an hour because if it's just for someone else? That'd make me insecure, wouldn't it.
Well think about it, why do you even care about looking pretty. The answer for all of us is because we care about what other people think of us. Most of us care about what other people think. That's why we dress the way we do, talk the way we do, act the way we do, consciously or subconsciously. It's just human nature and it dosen't mean that we are insecure.
I do agree with you that telling someone "Ilike you better without make-up." is mean and unecessary. But applying make up to one's face is nevertheless caring about what other people think.
As I said, FEEL pretty, not LOOK pretty. You can only look pretty to a limited group of people, feeling pretty is something you don't do for others.
