These women would definitely be attractive for many men but for me personally I don’t find it attractive. A body like Shakira’s will always be the sexiest for me.
I'm just not into gargantuan asses and thunder thighs. There is such a thing as proportions.
It's a shame that the word curvy has been appropriated by a minority of woman who have disproportionately large lower bodies. Curvy is not a synonym for plump, fat, large, blubbery, disproportionately wide, or even merely voluptuous. It describes curves. Curve: verb - having bends. And all women have curves. So how are we now supposed to describe women with normal proportions? If we call them curvy are we implying that they are fat or oddly proportioned? Are we supposed to compliment them on their "lack" of curviness?
My intention is not to put down on large women. I'm just objecting to the misuse of the word curvy. It kind of pisses me off. Call large women thicc or something, but not "curvy". Fuck the euphimistic bullshit.
There is nothing wrong with large women. Lots of guys think they are beautiful and sexy. And those guys aren't wrong. Each to his own.
@artemis77: A "bit" is NOT THE SAME as "obese" and "heavily" and "overweight" which I had experienced for at least 10 years of my life. Being obese and/or heavily overweight is also unhealthy.
Well I don't know what to say other than, I'm a plus sized girl and I find it hard to find guys who find me attractive, but personality I think it is wonderful when guys aren't judgmental, also thank you, you have helped me with a bit of the insecurities I face as a plus-size girl it bothers me to think that people don't think that we are beautiful but everyone's human and we are all beautiful creatures
@Joshyjay95 short guys are cool too! I'm sure some girl will definitely find you appealing! I know a couple short guys who are married and they are nice.
Yes curvy can come across as attractive, to poor and promiscuous men. Because heavier women have the highest reproductive chances by themselves, so they are ideal for men who either don't plan on providing for them or are straight-up incapable of doing so.

All women are sexy... We’re all sex goddesses deep down! xD
Also, are these models creating an impression that being overweight is okay? Or to be comfortable in your own body regardless? I mean, they’re not obese, but it’s not something to glorify if they are...
I think that just comes down to pettiness. Some people are body positive - support everyone to be comfortable as they are. Some people want to be seen as better, and kick everyone deemed worse.
First of all, people need to realize that "curvy" or "plus size" is actually closer to normal that what the fashion industry has tried to tell us for so long. Ever look at some old paintings and other artwork? The painting of Venus (you know Venus, goddess of love) does not show a woman that's a size 2. Women come in all shapes & sizes. If a woman is into fitness and stays slim, good for her. If another woman has a "few extra pounds" then that's ok too. Yes there is also a difference in being curvy and being obese.
Very good take - One of the things a fair person must accept is everyone has different tastes and just because it is not to your taste does not makes it bad - In fact it does society a favour we have people with all sorts of preferences mixing it up so we probably end up with maybe 70% plus ending up in a happy relationship - What would the figures be if there was a very narrow male and female ideal with so many falling outside the range.
I think curvy is considered the most attractive body type by most guys. Not plus size but an hourglass figure. Wider hips and bust with a defined waist.
true, but the real question is: do most men have a 6 pack? i hear all these twigs talking about wanting a woman with a perfect body, and then i look at them and suppress the urge to laugh.
@DianaWest and Littlemissbrat, the question wasn't about what kind of women men could get. It was about the definition of word curvy. There seems to be a trend in thinking that gargantuan asses and thunder thighs is ideal. To me, those shapes are out of proportion. For me, the girls in CT_CD's photos typify curvy. They also have the ideal amount of feminine fat. But I said previously that all women are curvy. The female form is curvy. I was objecting to the hijacking of the word to define out of proportion lower bodies and/or obesity. Some other word besides "curvy" should be used. I suggest "thicc". I'm not particularly into thicc women but some men are and there is nothing wrong with being thicc. But let's just be real about the definition of the word curvy. It has nothing to do with weight, size or proportions.
@DianaWest No, I don't have one. :-) And my girlfriend doesn't have 90-60-90 in centimeters, too. So we both are in body not "attractive" but we each other found us attractive. Finding some attractive or not is a subjective thing and never an objective.
He'll yeah it can it's not always about the size but the person behind it.
Having said that it becomes extremely unattractive when I'm told I have to stay in great shape, but the person saying it is anything but in even good shape.
It becomes extremely unattractive when I'm told that I don't measure up but those saying it haven taken any measurements in years
@UncleJessieRabbit Very true and look, 2 female down-votes. How can they be so mean? I just hope they a re plastic-free at least, like my girlfriend is.
First and 3rd very attractive, at least in body. Sorry, I don't mean it harsh here, I want to know personality before I form a relationship, being curvy a little isn't that bad to me. Just not those really over-weighted ladies.
I think they are very attractive and kinda jealous of them at times 😂 but I'd consider myself curvy too but I don't get considered curvy by people even though my ratios are of a hour glass figure

That's not how I see curvy. I don't find any of the women in these photos attractive. If you do, you're entitled to your own preference. For me, I like a really short fit girl with a big butt, full thighs, slim waist and big boobs. That's what I like. Everyone has their own preference and you shouldn't be ashamed of the type of body you prefer.
I asked about if you like slim/skinny women. 90-60-90 in circumference is considered as attractive/sexy in most Western countries. In most Arab countries she would be considered (generally said) as poor and only fat/curvy/full-figured women are considered as rich such as shown in the pictures.
@roland77 So? I don't understand the point you're trying to make. Yes, attractiveness is probably influenced by culture, but even then, you'd still see people deviating from the norm in terms of preference. I'm Arab myself.
They are fat women. Okay, to be honest, today we are being indoctrinated to NOT call them fat because it is fat-shaming. We must address them as full-figured, over-weight (already a bit insult) or curvy even when those words are not correct.
I dated a #curvy#African women before I found my girlfriend and she asked me if it is okay for me that she is curvy and I replied: "No, it isn't." She was not so fat as those shown in the TV show.

Oh, my. Wrong logic! She asked me if I MIND she is curvy. :-( Must be my day-night cycled which is turned around. :-(
Define "curvy". Some seem to have used it to include obese women. The truth is that obesity is neither attractive nor healthy. Some say a "curvy" woman is not slender but not fat either, i. e, thick or heavy set. This can be attractive (though not to me) and nothing is wrong with it.

Sorry... To me, the curves of an obese and/or heavily overweight woman or man are not positively attractive.
really who can resist a bit thick love a bit of meat on the bone
@artemis77: A "bit" is NOT THE SAME as "obese" and "heavily" and "overweight" which I had experienced for at least 10 years of my life. Being obese and/or heavily overweight is also unhealthy.
true not over top just enough thick to make them curvaciously curvy
@artemis77 Um... anyone with eyes and a fucking brain can. That's who.
I still don't find someone very overweight attractive.
To each their preference though, a mytake isn't going to change that🤷🏿♀️

Same think for me as a male not fat but short measuring 5.5ft so imagine lol
I'm not judgement about body type

Is she considered as "curvy"? I guess this was called slim.
THAT'S what I call curvy!
@Lliam Very nice!
true, but the real question is: do most men have a 6 pack? i hear all these twigs talking about wanting a woman with a perfect body, and then i look at them and suppress the urge to laugh.
@Diana you're not wrong lmao.

curvy is sexy.
when she has rolls and back boobs, then she is not curvy.
lol,..,"its all in the hips""its all in the hips""its all in the hips"
as shakira says the hips don't lie mmm.. shakira
I hate how society used these people as curvy. All these women are fat, not curvy. Stop using curvy for a synonym for fat. These are curvy women.👇
You’re probably skinny as a stick
And the last woman has fat so what’s the diffrence
@blackxbarbiex01 last woman has no fat? lmfao she has an ACCEPTABLE amount
I didn’t say she had NO fat, read my comment again
I know why Africans are so appealing to me. Sure being to much fat is a turn-off for me. But these women look very attractive.
Whether the original MyTake pictures are "fat" or "curvy" is irrelevant here because I still found them sort of attractive.
@UncleJessieRabbit Very true and look, 2 female down-votes. How can they be so mean? I just hope they a re plastic-free at least, like my girlfriend is.

Most of the women shown weren't even close to fat some where just chubby to plus size now Tess Holliday is definitely fat.
I think they are very attractive and kinda jealous of them at times 😂 but I'd consider myself curvy too but I don't get considered curvy by people even though my ratios are of a hour glass figure

A 90-60-60 in centimeters? They are considered as under-weight.
@roland77 What?

Curvy girls can be sexy too, I think that Ashley Graham is a goddess she is so beautiful. I think that when we talk about beauty size doesn't matter.
To some extend, yes. Careful, comedy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-sYi3xCsfg
Of course to some extent, not all people are the same
Thanks for showing love to curvy girls! Good MyTake
Those photos are edited and touched a lot. Real curvy girls don't look like that. I mean, where's the cellulite and stomach rolls?
All of them are edited. No stretch marks, no nothing. Come on😂
Yeah, but my point is, those pics are so unrealistic. So, when you say 'I like curvy girls' don't expect them to look like that.
